We are enjoying record high temps in Denver this week. It will be 77 degrees today, 80 tomorrow, and in the upper 70's all week long. The Mrs. and I are getting some spring gardening done and enjoying the beautiful weather while we can, because a wallup of snow could be just around the corner for us.

Raining here. I think some rain tomorrow too. After that it should start to clear up. But only to the mid 60's all week.

I am cleaning out my craft corner today... it was starting to look like a hoarder lives here. Now see, without the shout box, I can give some things attention that have long been neglected... so... hurry up and get that box back on line!!!


Well... it seems I came here first instead of the forum page... the box is back. Now... I wonder if my family will let me get away with a half cleaned out craft corner since everything is now spread around the room.

I watched the formula 1 race from malaysia this afternoon.I am glad to see ferrari won but was hoping for mclaren mercedes.My grandson and I have f1 slot cars we race .He has the red bull and I have the mclaren vodafone.We crash hard ,thank god for super glue. Have a great day all.

Good weather here today, but lots of smoke from the wildfire that started yesterday. We had 40-60 MPH winds for most of the day.

Yeah Jeff, heard on the news that 2 people died in their home because of the mountain wildfires tonight. Not only that, I heard of the Jet Blue pilot that freaked out and had to be "restrained" on the way to Vegas. I just came from there and since I travel/fly a couple weeks a month my anxiety is a little high when I fly these days. I wish I could trade my air miles for days of mortality?!

Weather is 70 degrees here this afternoon

Parts of my county are officially in 'Drought' and it's still only March!!

I expect we will have hosepipe bans and water saving measures in the coming months

You'd think for an Island surrounded by water we'd have better measures in place to deal with drought situations??

I believe it. In Colorado, Utah, AZ and Nevada have more Water Rights to OUR water (Colorado River) than in Denver. We have had droughts and water rashines for years while Phoenix and Las Vegas water their Golf Courses during the day. Another thing we cant do. We have to water our lawns at night or get fined. Unless you have a well!!

All because of some deal done probably 100 years ago.

right now we are only allowed to water two days a week. my days are Wednesday and Saturday. of course I think about watering on Friday and Monday lol
