    1931 "BAFFLE BALL" PINBALL GAME BY GOTTLIEB"FABULOUS COLLECTORS ITEM! THE 1931 "BAFFLE BALL" MACHINE, MADE BY THE VENDING MACHINE CO. OF FAYETTEVILLE, NC AND DESIGNED BY GOTTLIEB, IS "THE FIRST COMMERCIALLY SUCCESSFUL PINBALL MACHINE.". WOOD CASED MACHINE MEASURES 24" X 16" AND WAS MADE TO SIT ON BAR TOPS. NICELY CARVED SIDE PANELS, ALL ORIGINAL PARTS AND FINISHES, THE PLUNGER OPERATED MACHINE IS NOT WORKING BUT DOES HAVE THE STAINLESS STEEL BALLS INSIDE.     Waaaaay over priced!!

    I see these older flipper-less pinball games sell on eBay for $200-$300 quite frequently.

    I agree that it's overpriced, but this one probably will fetch more money than most others of this style. Baffle Ball was basically the first coin-op "pinball machine" in the States, so it does have some historical significance. Not $1000 significance, in my opinion, thought.
