    Default Vintage Pachinko Machine Strike'em

Okay, okay, I know it's NOT a vintage pachinko, just the wording from the Ad!!

I can't seem to find a manufacturer name or initials on it, but it looks like an 'Allwin Style' machine to me

It looks like an Allwin built by Oliver Whales Co. My Allwin book is at home, so I will verify the mfg and year later this evening.

Yeah I was looking for the usual suspects like, Allwin, Oliver Whales, Bryans, Ruffler & Walker etc

I thought it might be a Ruffler & Walker but I believe they usually have a 'R&W' logo showing

It looks like all of the mechanics are there (hard to tell for sure), but the lower change box door is missing.

Even still, I bet this one sells for $350-$400 US,

You were right on target! I had my finger on the trigger for $200.01. Good thing others wanted it worse than me! I really couldn't afford it. In the last few seconds, it went over $227, and I relaxed and watched several other bids shoot it up to $387.99!

Yeah... The bidding was still pretty low at four hours before the auction ended, so I decided to set up a snipe for $280. Obviously I didn't get it, but that's OK. I figured that if I lost out at $280, then someone else wanted it much more than I did.

Let's see what that works out to:

    387.99 USD = 244.47 GBP

    Exchange rate: 0.630100
    Rate valid as of: 25/3/2012

You know that is still very cheap compared to the prices it would fetch here in the UK, you could probably double that

I've paid around that for Pachinkos Vintage and Moderns, but then I did really really want them and the market here is so different
