    Default Canon i9900 Printer

I am putting this in this forum because some users here use the Canon i9900 for customizing their machines. I have one of these printers myself. I have read on newsgroups of some users having a banding issue. The solution varies from printing every day so the head does not get clogged, to simply running the self clean and print head alignment. I really can't print on the printer every day, that seems to be a waste. Have any Canon i9900 owners here had banding issues? How often do the owners print anything on their printer?

    Thanks.

I only print about once a week, or even less. No banding issues.

My only problem with the Canon right now is that I had great results with the Red River film. Red River just announced that they won't be selling the film anymore. So now I'm looking for another film. I have some of the Kodak back lit film but I wasn't happy with the results - some bleeding when black butted up against a highly saturated color. I'm hoping that I just need to play with the settings a little.

Well, I have 25 sheets of 13 X 19. I plan on using it on my first mod, if my machine ever gets here.

Expensive Stuff but the material is better than Red River. I have never tried this media on a i9900 though.
