Default Antique one arm bandit carved character vintage slot machine

I remember these have been discussed here before and there are a few members interested in them.

Wow, I love the machine. Don't think I would be making that kind of drive though for one.

I saw one before and it had a $6000 price tag. This I would guess will go for around $4000 I would guess. The jackpot mech might not be that hard to replace. It does take up alot of room.

Well it got up to $560 with 3 bids, but I guess we'll never know what it would have gone for..

$560 is a bargain for a mechanical slot with a full size wooden stand! I expected about $3500 to $4500. Not sure what brand. Didn't look like a Mills, I was thinking a Sega, due to the black reels. The jackpot mechanism looks intact to me. In the pics, it looked like the payout tube was full and ready to slide the next coin into the cash box.

There was like a week left on the auction when it was ended..I suspect someone made them an offer they couldn't refuse..

MrGneiss, I tried to post a pic of the jackpot mech (now that I learned how), but got a bug of some sorts in my computer. 1 shot is with the back off, looks like no jackpot. Another has the mechanism out and the jackpot is clearly visable. Yes, they had to get a better offer, I can't see them settling for only $560!

Frank Polk was the original creator of these carved figures. Since then other artists have created their own versions but Polk's are the most sought after and sell for well over 10K if you can find one. The Pioneer casino in Nevada has a few and my girl played them while she was there. On a subsequent trip all Polk slots were off limits and strictly for display only.
