The machine is dirty and a little over-priced at $199 perhaps, but this Ippatsu-dai is an interesting example of the genre, from Sankyo.
Plus it has that nice pinball background - if it cleaned up OK, might be a nice addition.
Ippatsu-dai? I can help there:
一般電役 (say ‘ee-pah-n-den-yah-koo’) or Ippatsu-dai - the ‘one shot’ machine, which usually has no flipper-type generator or digital drums in the center. It also lacks the usual V-Zone bonus gate found in Deji, hane and kenrimono machine, and instead uses tulips (see photo) which will open during the Jackpot phase. Google often wrongly translates this term as ‘General Electric’, as the ‘den-yah-koo’ part refers to electric appliances in other Japanese words that use this particular kanji. These machines are rarely found these days, and even more rarely produced by modern manufacturers (Dairitsu's BIG BANG comes to mind : http://www.pachimono.com/galleries/o...tsu/index.html )
