Default Ball tray empty light stays on regardless of microswitch

Ok, Im trying to figure out why the empty ball tray light says on for my Model C. I bought a replacement microswitch but the one that was on there, seems to work correctly. My initial thinking was the switch was wired up incorrectly. I desoldered one wire and moved it to the other pole, but it makes no difference. Any ideas here?

The pic on the right is with the switch depressed.
Just to be clear, the light would also stay on BEFORE I moved the wire from the bottom pole to the top pole ( I left the middle pole unchanged).

Polarity wont matter in a simple lamp circuit. The 3rd terminal is a parlor operator warning light. When hooked up to a bank of lights in the office of the parlor...it lets the parlor know which machines are low on balls. I don't remember which one to move...but try moving the the wire from yellow to white. I'll check mine to see what is correct.

Are you suggesting moving the transformer wire from yellow terminal to the white - so, as opposed to being wired Orange&Yellow to be orange&white? If so, I get no lights at all when its hooked up that way.

If this does not work, reverse the polarity on the orange and white posts and it should work fine.

Just tested mine, orange and white makes jackpot and low ball lights work. Reversed polarity and still worked fine; but, when I checked the wall wart I am using...it is 9v AC. Not sure if polarity matters. It don't on a model A or B but the model C has a circuit board inside...it may make a difference.

his "C" does not have circuit boards..

my guess is something is wired backwards

I have a simple 3 light circuit.Model C wiring 003.jpg One for low ball,Model C wiring 005.jpgand two more for jackpot. I'm having issues with my computer and can't flip the pics. I knew I saw a circuit board inside...so I popped the back off.Model C wiring 007.jpg This board actually has no circuits...just wire traces for simplification of wiring.Model C wiring 009.jpg The red wires on the right go to the jackpot switch. The solder points between the 2 screws at the bottom go to the low ball switch. Here is a closeup of the back of the fuse/terminal block.Model C wiring 008.jpg The center JP light is orange wires that plug in with a connector at the fuse/terminal block.Model C power 004.jpg Still have not tested with DC power, but I don't think polarity has any effect on the function of a simple bulb circuit. Nishijinc-owner...have you popped the back off and checked for any wires that may have broke off of the board? Take the back off and take a few pics of the wiring...it can't be too hard to fix!

There are 5 squeeze clips, 3 around the ball hopper, 1 below the seesaw, and 1 below the chute that directs winning balls out front. Originally they had a black rubber wedge inserted to keep them from accidentally releasing. I don't understand why because I find it easiest to use pliers to squeeze them. The wedges are frequently gone...mine only has 1 left. I could take pics if this don't make sense. Just squeeze a clip and pull the back off JUST ENOUGH to keep the clip compressed, Repeat for the next closest one, I usually start with the 3 around the hopper. As you get more loose, the back will pop off easily.
