pachi com rosa red with grey or flickering screen
I recently went to play my pachinko machine and turned it on and the screen was blurry and had flashing lines on it. Turned it off and on again and the screen came up grey. There are now lines out on the screen. All the other functions work on the machine just no screen but lines or its grey. Any tips would be helpfull. also the machine is from 99 or 2000. Thanks Tim

Did you already try to re-seat all the connections to the LCD in the rear of the machine?

The pic is so small I can't see anything at all. All I see is a small blue box on the left of the screen.
I can barely make that out.
Are you getting anything at all or just that?
Did you try manually dropping balls to activate the screen?

yes i tried dropping the balls. the machine goes through the motions like it should but the screen does nothing but stay grey or flash lines.

The question is, is the screen getting any input or not. You need to know if the connectors are bad.
I've seen rusty connectors and that alone would be enough to cause the problem.
There are so many things it could be including a dead lcd screen.
It's pretty hard to diagnose without more info.

I'm at a loss I can't see the screen but you have to test and be able to see the screen.
You need to know if the input to the screen is messed up, if it's not getting a signal or if the lcd
itself went bad.
I'm not an expert on this but I have sorted out similar issues with laptops that have
lcd screens.
Maybe someone with more experience can help out?

I would think that the grey area and lines on the screen indicates that a loose connection is somewhere in a terminal or I would think the screen would be all black and not lit.Just a guess.

LCD screen sare very tricky. One of my families older laptops actually looked liked it had cracked glass on the desktop.
The screen looked like it was actually broken. But it was a few small broken wires and in that case unfixable.
Strangest thing I have ever seen.
In this case it's likely the LCD isn't getting a signal but it's hard to see anything with a thumbnail
of the LCD screen to look at.
My best suggestion is to pull off each wire, clean it with contact cleaner and put it back on where it was taken off
one connector at a time.
Far too many people use rubbing alcohol and that screws it up because that contains a lot of water.
