Balls don't flow into ball launcher

Hello Folks
I have a No More War 3 which worked perfectly when I got it and for several years. Now the balls in the ball feeder will not flow into the ball launcher. The button to empty the ball feeder tray into the bottom tray to remove them works fine but they don't fall into the ball launcher. The launcher lever seems to work just fine but there's just no ball there for it to hit. If I drop a ball into a tulip or something the payout works great so there are no jams on that side of the mechanism. I don't know how to open up the feeder area to see if there's a jam in there as it seems to be completely sealed up. I can't see any levers to trigger anything else in that area either. I've browsed the manuals and tried to find a post with a similar problem but can't seem to find out what to check.
Any ideas? I know very, very little about these machines as I've never had a serious problem in 10 years before this one.

Please post some pics of the window on the front upper ball tray and pics of the rear. Do you have enough balls in the upper hopper? I'm sure with a few pics one of us will be able to help you out. Welcome!

You could have too few balls in the upper tray. That would close a ball shutoff to the launcher.
That would make it so no balls ever get to the launcher or that could stick causing the same problem.
The balls going to the launcher can jam, it's happened to me a couple of times.
Chances are if you have enough balls in the upper tray either the shutoff lever is stuck
or you have a feeder jam in the front loader.
Pics of the machine would really help front and back.

Not enough balls in the top rear hopper will cause the path to the shooter to close. There's a lever underneath that hopper that is pressed down by the weight of the balls and keeps the path to the shooter open. Look under the tray and you'll see how it all works.
