Smile gladiator: good deal? bad deal?

This morning I stopped in to a surplus-type outlet & saw 2 machines: Octopus & Gladiator (black), I played both & the Gladiator was the more exciting. The man offered me both for $120, or $69.95 for an individual machine. I bought the Gladiator (actually for less, because I only had $70.00 in cash so he adjusted it to cover the tax). Did I get a good deal or not? (It came with about 100 balls, but none were engraved, so they might have been ball bearings).
Also, it might have been an older Gladiator, as I did not see "Gladiator" written at the top of the playfield, but it was listed along the lower right side.
Any info would be appreciated. I'm very new to pachinko, but I have a Gin Gin Maru pachislo & a Williams Pinbot pinball machine. Thanks

Go back and buy the other one, too!

If you don't, you will be sorry.

They are both good games at a great price.

Where in PA and what store? Just curious as I am in PA as well. Maybe there is one of these surplus/outlet stores near me?

You should have made a quick run to the ATM and got the cash to get them both. You are lucky to get one machine for what he was going to charge you for both. What a fabulous find!
    and a few others.

In my area, there are stores that carry overstocks, goods that maybe have damaged cartons that the regular stores (Sears, Walmart, etc) can't sell, obviously damaged, scratched up, missing cartons, odds 'n ends, some total crap... anyway, these were in one of these: A-to-Z Surplus (written AIIZ), Altoona.

RK: yes, that is the remaining machine he has, and no, there are no other locations. It is located at 7rh Avenue & 6th Street (across from Skills, Inc). From what was said, I gather that they had sold some pachislos in the past & had gotten these 2 machines, but couldn't sell them 'cause no one in the area was familiar with pachinkos. The only reason I am is because I came across THIS site (Pachitalk) & decided to check out the pachinko part of it. Otherwise I would have likewise been clueless, too. Normally, one doesn't see pachinkos at any of these outlets, but I hadn't stopped at this place before in my normal, Saturday morning wanderings of the outlet sites here.
Btw, I see there is another octopus machine on ebay (no takers) at $59.00 offered by someone who goes by the name 'bradfishice' (or something similar).

I hadn't planned to. Maybe your mom could get it, RK. I have my gin gin maru, my pinbot & now my gladiator. I don't have the room for too much more.
