Power strip question

I have a Babel skill slot is it ok to turn the machine on and off with a power strip instead of opening it and using the machines power switch.I want to avoid having the kids open the machine by leaving the machine switched on and using the power strip an interupt. Any advise thoughts on this are appreciated.

Most of us like to plug our pachis into power strips and turn them on and of that way!!

Its easy and convenient and turns off power to the transformer which can still get power and heat up if the machine is only switched off from the inside..

A switch can be anywhere in the power circuit. But if using a power strip, two rules apply. First, the power strip must have a critically important 15 amp circuit breaker. Second, daisy chaining power strips is a human safety violation.

Yes, you can plug your Pachislo into a power strip without a problem.

Hey thanks for the quick responses...I'll buy a good surge protector power strip and use that moving forward in the meantime ill keep it switched off and unplugged when not using it.
