Looks complete, from what I can see...and my limited knowledge of early moderns. Works? Well he has no balls...could be as simple as that! Or could be a $130 mistake. Kind of a gamble, but not a particularly high risk one. Does it have good gameplay? Anybody's guess.

to me it looks like it could be missing a circuit board... sure seems to have a huge open area in the back center???

I am certainly no expert, but I agree it does look like something is missing on the back center.

Looks like a cross between a late vintage and a hanemono, so it's probably complete. Without a mechanical center feature(or limited one), that's probably all there is. No need for electronics or solenoids in that section of the rear panel. You can also see the red release levers to swing open the back.
