    Talk about wiring nightmare.

But at $7 how could you go wrong. (but not worth it to get it shipped)

I like the blue Sun 406s. Nice to see this one has its original frame though. My sun 406 was shoved in a cheap wall unit when it was imported.

I was looking at this one too. I can't imagine what all the wires are for, the lighting is so simple on these vintages. No idea what the round thing in the upper right corner is for. What caught my eye was the cover is the same as the one I got from Owennewton for my Okumurayuki.new cover again 004.jpg Which has the Daiichi name on one of the ball tracks.okumurayuki 002.jpg It's on the white Uturn, I have a closeup...but I can't find it. The Goodwill machine is a Hyoraku. Maybe they are related...or just sourced parts from the same suppliers.

No it is called someone's typo. It really is a blue Kyoraku Sun 406 made in about 74. I have only seen a few in blue and they look nicer than the red ones. (I own a red one. Machine #62 Post #64 my never ending collection of machines - Page 4)

I also have a red one in the cheap aftermarket cab. Mine is not in this good of a condition as the front tray was missing half and it was rather beat up in the back. I pulled all the back off and made it cyclic with a part from a Nishijin "B" and the rest of it got 3 other machines working. Interesting thing is my Isuzu has an identical back but in orange and my Besta uses some of the same parts (seesaw mount and cover and some of the other plastics)

    welcome to PachiTalk!

Please do use a favor and take some better pictures and post them up here. That is our form of payment for our knowledge.

Also just as a note. If you start your own thread in the Vintage pachinko section you may get a little more interest but either way you will get help.

Also Congrats you are now a part of one of the most contagious hobbies out there. we even have a disclaimer!

Warning: Pachinko machines tend to multiply with little to no notice.

If you need any help with the Kyoraku myself and a few other members have Sun 406's (which is what your machine is) We would be willing to help you in anyway possible.

If you want here are pictures of my Sun 406 (machine #62 )

my never ending collection of machines - Page 4

Once again Welcome to PT. Please visit daily and post often. And let us know of anything we can help you with.

That will give you some knowledge but won't help much as the kyoraku's are wired differently.

I haven't played much with mine but I'll post some pictures of some of the wiring and hopefully it could help.

Also watch it because some yellow wires you may need to keep.

Well looks to be a clean machine at least. That tag is the expiration tag because these were in parlors in japan. There should be a small 2 digit number on there (number should be between 49-52) Take that number and add 24 to it and that will give you the date the machine was built.

As for the wires that looks like it will be real fun to mess with. If I were you I'd start by just cutting off any wires that aren't stapled down or look like the ones in my previous pictures.

(forgot my manners on the first post.)

ok well all the lights are working still trying to find what should happen for what slot the ball drops in. but the number on the tag is 47 everything else is in a foreign lingo.
but you said it should be between 49-52 can this be the right number?
