New to the forum. I obtained an older machine. Knowing nothing about them I tore into it cleaned it and made it accept quarters. That being said, the bonus sequence that began with the 3 penguins. It ran its course, it has won on this for me. After it was done stopped playing music, elected the 50 quarters and showed an "oF" error code. I have tried to reset with no luck. It will not stop playing music. Any help would be appreciated.

just to be clear, the machine is used in my basement as a piggy bank. the machine has won on triple sevens many times without any issues, but on the penguins for some reason it is hung up on this error code and the lights will not stop flashing and the music will not stop. I can't plug it in without it going off.

At PachiTalk we promote Pachinko and Pachislo playing / collecting as a hobby and as such we recommend using the correct Tokens to operate them. These are Japanese machines and designed to be operated solely with the correct size and weight of Token.

Also, as it can be illegal in many States, conversion to currency is not recommended nor is it discussed in the forums, the following link explains Site Rules

Do you have a quantity of tokens to test your pachislo with?? If so, I would suggest filling the hopper with tokens and doing a full reset of the machine using the key or a toggle switch if fitted to your machine.

It could be that the coinage you are using is bent or incorrect weight / shape / size and causing a hopper jam or dirty sensors

or there could be insufficient 'tokens' in the hopper, or you could be in need of a re-set after a Bonus round

Try the full re-set and let us know if that clears the error

Thanks for the link. I'll try to reset it again. As far as using quarters goes, I didn't modify anything. The token slot was full of lint and after cleaning it out all i had were quarters so i tried it, and it worked. It has worked fine for two years, it had just never hit ths specific bonus and I didn't know if there was a procedure to stop it or if it would stop on it own eventually.

if this problem only occurred after a Bonus, then it could be that it does need the re-set after a bonus round

Regarding this feature. there are 2 switches usually on the power supply that deal with the settings for this

Thanks for your help. after staring at it this morning it remembered the key only opens the door clockwise. I turned it counter and it shut off. Problem solved. Thanks again.
