wow that has to be the only model A style machine I have seen that isn't on a Nishijin. Personally, I think their pricing is fair. I'm just a tad far away. (plus if it were closer I wouldn't pay that much. )

Contacted the seller, he is willing to ship. Asked for better pics of the cell and back. This is what I got.Both trays have been hit pretty hard. I'm sure they can be reasonably straightened. I'm not sure what to think of the 3rd pic. Some damage...but not sure what it should look like. I'm including the original Craigslist pics because I can supersize them so you can see them better. He didn't send any pics of the cell, so I asked for more pics. I'm gonna call tomorrow and try to negotiate the price.

Last one didn't work because of text staggered pics. I wanted them to be side by side. The original Craigslist pics didn't get as big as I expected. A moderator can remove the previous post due to duplicate pics if desired. Still don't look like I wanted, but good enough.

Called seller today. Says it came from his father, someone brought it back from Japan, and is no others like it in USA. I can say I have never seen one like it...and that is good enough for me. He will email me more pics and shipping costs in a couple days. I will post when I get them.

Looking grim! Already got a cashiers check for purchase, waiting to see what shipping is before mailing.Was going to send COD on shipping, but claims post office won't do that, so he needs shipping up front. I won't know what shipping is 'till tomorrow, he seems to think about $59. If so...gonna have to let it go. The full price plus shipping grates me enough, not gonna be gouged as well. Gonna measure a box, weigh a machine, and go to the PO to get my own estimate today. Hate to lose it because of just over my comfort level of price, not to mention the inherent risk of Craigslist.

Talked to the seller on the phone today. He is a very nice guy, and says that was just his best guess at shipping. He will email me the exact price tomorrow morning. My estimates were based on a 40lb box 10"X24"X36"...FexEx was a whopping $65 while the Post Office was $45. Hopefully his machine is lighter and costs less. He says he has offers from California offering more money and seem very knowledgeable about it...but I have 1st dibs! Wish me luck on shipping!

Shipping $40. About what I expected for so far away...insured for $300, signature required. $140 is more than I like to pay for a vintage...but this one looks like it will be worth it!
