Smile Few ?'s about the Aztec (silver door) & Neo's

I am new to all this, but recently acquired 3 machines. The Neo Planett from Milt, and the Neo Magic Pulsar & Aztec Legend Returns from Eric. The Aztec has a menu I cannot seem to navigate, nor can I find a way to bring the volume down on it. I saw in a few posts I believe that it may be possible to change some of these machines into English. All 3 sometimes seem to have their reels not aligning up when they are all stopped. I was wondering if anyone here has possibly any semi-detailed manuals or can help me out somehow. As I am still learning about these machines, I am a little hesitant to actually tinker around in one yet. If there is someone within a reasonable area of Northern Jersey that like to meet up, I love to see other collections as well as learn more. Thanks for all your help and glad to be here amongst so much help. Now back to searching posts.

    Welcome Brian!

A quick note, this thread is going to be moved to the pachislo section. I'm going to leave it overnight or until you respond so you know where to find it.

This particular section is for pachinko modifications. Don't worry, you'll get the hang of this place in no time.

Yeah, I had just realized where I posted. Thanks. There are certain features of the Yamasa machines better than the one who made the Azteca Returns, But it seems overall that this one is quietest and the easiet to get to the coin hopper. My Yamasa machines have loud stepper motors and Im not a big fan of that. I guess in the casinos it didn't matter because of al lthe other noise going on there. Overall they all work great though. Is there a reason the reels would look misaligned when stopped? It happens on all of them. As for the zteca I still can't locate the volume control. Thanks again.

Also meant to say there was a noticaeable hissing coming from the speakers. It is noticeable from across the room but it is not excessively loud. Is that normal for the Aztecas's?

Yes those links were a big help and I did locate everything, but unfortuantely my power supply looks nothing like that. All i have is a power switch on it tiwards the top middle. I see 2 key slot holes on the upper right over the reels but the smaller key (assuming the reset) does not work in either. The big key obviously works the door fine for a minor reset as well as opening. I even tried the big key in either without luck. The 2nd key hole is in the left middle on the upper right side where that black square piece of plastic with the 3 "legs" that come out of it like a spider. http://www.pachislousa.com/instructi...nd%20reels.jpg

If I'm remembering correctly, the bottom key slot of that silver box in the upper right side is for the reset. You will need to get a key to run it.

I thought the smaller key was for it, but I guess not. So far I cannot find the home for that key anywhere on the machine. So if I have this correct, I would have to use the key to turn the reset on and then use the inside button for the major reset? I am able to use the door key to the left to do a minor one if needed.

My Azteca Legend (Eleco) has a small reset key on the power supply and a white skill chg button. On the door is also a skill button. I also have lock on the silver box upper right of the reels but no key. I think that unlocks the cpu board.

My Babel (Eleco) has just a switch (On / Off) on the power supply. The reset is on the upper right on a silver box.

I only have 2 keys that came with mine. 1 is wide part to grab and looks like a normal key. The other one is really small and short. Mine looks like the inside of the one on Czyotto's Babel only I have the silver box like on the other link I posted. The power supply is switch on and off only. There is a black button on the middle left of the window like the links posted before for me. I am still looking around for other key holes that this small one may go in.

    GOOD NEWS!!!
I was able to get the small key to fit in the one key hole in the upper right side in the body. The problem was something was stuck in there and when I finally noticed it, I was able to slide the key in with a little effort. What I don't liek to is that it is very annoying to have to stick your hand in between the reel and wall and cut yourself on metal to try and get the key in. Bad location in my opinion. Thanks for all the help. So far still can't find any luck on the hissing from the speakers anywhere on other sites and stuff. If I know its normal I won't worry as much. I was semi able to navigate through the menus. Gotta get a few Japanese people over here to read for me lol or take a bunch of pics of each menu and have them translated :-d

If you are unable to reset the skill level in Azteca with the small key you have, then I think you have to call Eric at PP to get the correct key. They may have sent you the wrong key.

As long as it still turns, you shouldn't need to take it out. This way, you'll always know where it is.
