The one in the Gold Frame is most probably a one off or something, it is the only one I have ever heard of and was originally brought to the US by Arby, and now safely in Compirate's collection and I doubt it will be going anywhere else

Here is the booklet / manual from our Research Centre, seems you guys have such an interest in the 'technical aspects'

Funnily enough it was one of the first pachinkos I was offered way back in 2006, I declined, so there is still at least one hiding out in the UK too, oh it was just a yellow framed one though

Thanks Hanabi, I have no idea what frames is what. I have my eye on some new games coming from Japan.
My wife likes a few different games than I do. Some of course are the same.
I've seen the black frame in person, it's ok but doesn't really match that game.
If she wants it and we can get it shipped it's ok by me.

It was just the frame Kyoraku was making at that time, I am not a fan of it myself even if I do have one game in it. I may see if Dave will pick it up for me if you don't go for it Steve. (and if it is still available) I should not spend the money but I want this machine badly. Why is it always when I am worried about paying bills that something like this pops up

My wife went to work at 4am so I haven't had a chance to talk to her but she likes girls in Bikini's, stuff like that.
The Reaches, Secrets and Chances all are just more girls in Bikini's. Is that why it's such a popular machine?
I'll let you know today if I am going to go for it.

yes there are booklets and guidebooks for lots of pachis, I have some for my pachinkos and my Pachislos

Some are small A5 size and some are larger like A4, ( have a big beautiful A4 sized one for my Julie the Pinball pachinko)

They are written in Japanese obviously, but usually have lots of full colour pics and so you get an idea of what it's about and they are nice to add to your collection

I have bought mine from ebay or from importers, other members may have some for sale, and I know you'll deff find them on YJA too

I am certainly not trying to step on any toes of any members here. Friendship is far more important to me than adding a machine to my collection. However, I had already made an offer n the machine including shipping and am waiting on a response. If it is going to cause another member any problems, please feel free to let me know and I will retract my offer.

I spoke to the seller again and it looks like we have a deal including shipping on the machine. Again though if it this causes any issues for another member here, I can retract my offer. I normally would have been quicker to state my intentions of purchasing, however the seller was not very quick to accept my offer or to let me know he was even considering it.

My wife hasn't seen the machine. If she objects to it, which I doubt would happen, I will hold onto the machine and give you first right of refusal to purchase it for what I spent when your finances would be more comfortable to consider it. I certainly would not charge you a penny more than I spent. Friendships are far more important to me than collecting or profits.

For me it's not a problem. I spoke with my wife during her break and she said she wants the gold frame, not the black frame.
I hope you'll post why it's a great game after you get it.

I'm still interested in what is so great about this pachi? Is it because it's rare?

I mean nothing wrong with sexy girls in Bikini's, but it doesn't seem like it has a lot of reaches or bonuses.

if i remember correctly there is only one gold frame yellow cab pachinko.

i think it was a promo piece made when the pachinko was first released

I looked at the post about the gold framed one, which was absolutely beautiful. I was under the impression however that only one was made as a promotional piece and therefore I would not have the opportunity to own one. I will certainly post about the machine when I receive it. The single most important hing to me is not how rare the machine is but that it is fun to play. My thoughts on this machine was that with it being a rare one, this would be my chance to own it and play it it to determine how much fun it is. The price seemed right as well. However if I get the machine and do not enjoy it, I will certainly offer it for sale. My intention is not to end up with an extremely large number of machines in my collection. I just want several mahines that I can display and enjoy. Number one on my list is still to own a working arrangeball in good condition.

All the promo materials show a great many Gold framed machines. As far as rarity goes, who really knows how many they made of these back in 2004 in Japan.
Rare here for certain.
From what I saw of the promo booklet they have a bonus system that doesn't really appeal to me.
It seems like Reaches, Bonuses and Chances are fairly limited. I could be wrong on that. I'm just going on what the booklet is showing.
I have a Wanted which also has limited Reaches, Bonuses and Chances compared to other Pachi out there

That said I think you'll have a lot of fun with it. For thee price I would have definitely bought it if it were local to me.

The gold frame was for the premier of the game, those wonderful trade show kind of things when they announce a new game. This is the only one we know of to still exist, which means pretty much nothing to most people other than me and a few others.
The Volcano frame in black was originally for the first Jurrasic Park game, but I suppose they had the molds and decided to use it for a few others. The plastic is off white underneath, and the only other difference is the lava rays are yellow instead of red.
