I'd say top, top dollar I'd pay would be $75. Never any higher. Unless the machine is way nice.

I want more pictures before going after it. Although I have some ideas of possibly doing a custom job on this one. Giving it a Card Shark theme

I totally saw that coming. I thought you'd replace the cell with a jaws themed one. but giving it an even more personal touch seems cool. Keep us posted if you follow through.

I have emailed the seller in Virginia Beach (about 2 hours away). I am hoping to get some better photos and then will work on pricing. It appears as they are a business and not a private seller. I really wasn't looking for another Vintage machine right now, however I am thinking it might be fun with the center feature being a shark to create a custom design for the playfield with a Poker and Shark theme. If I do end up purchasing I will certainly be posting a lot of questions about creating a playfield design.

Finally got a response from the seller. They are a small business in Virginia Beach. They are supposed to be getting me better pictures soon so we can start negotiating.

Funny, I have tried to reach them several times. They responded to one email where I requested more pictures, however they have not sent the pictures or responded to susequent calls or emails. I assumed they had sold it.

I just got through to them on the phone. They promised again to send me the pictures. They do not sound very organised, but maybe they just stay very busy.

Not sure it is worth $150, especially with a 2 hour drive but looks to me to be complete (based on my limited experience). My thoughts are if I can get it for a good price, this could be a cool one to attempt to create my own "Card Shark" themed playfield on.

Would love some input if anyone sees anything I should be oncerned about on the machine before I make an offer.

Overall, it looks like a keeper to me. Very complete and the center piece/theme is soooo YOU!!

Some light water stains on the cell, and a little bit of rust/pitting on the chrome, but otherwise a nice model B.

I would remove that foil that is trying to pass off for a fuse! Either wire it direct with a 9V battery, or replace it with a 2-3 amp fuse if you use a wall plug type power pack.
Pachinko -Nishijin "C" Fishing Game & Hockey, Red Lions, CR Red Lions, Heiwa Double Wing, Takao Bruce Lee, SanseiR&D 777 Sevens Rock, Sankyo Wanted!, lots of other vintages!; Pachislo -SPIN LUCK, Kung Fu Lady, Gamera High Grade, Gundam

Sorry about that other post I really butchered that. (lesson learned about posting from my phone. )

Anyways, That looks like a nice machine. The cell doesn't matter much seeing you will most likely replace it. But it is good to bring up if needed on price haggling. Just say it has some water damage and will need to be replaced. (which it would if you didn't like it) Also almost all the paint has flaked off the CF but that is typical. But just another item to bring up if needed And the chrome... it is in okay shape. It has minor signs of rust and quiet a bit of pitting. It will clean up though. But here again if needed tell them that it may need to be rechromed which could cost close to $200. Otherwise it looks like a nice machine. Don't forget to mention the drive you would have to make to get it, they may lower it if they want it gone. Basically Ideal price would be around $50 but less would be better.

If you need anything else just ask.

I have a machine where someone stuck a metal rod in place of the fuse. at least it is better than the few machines where people "tried" to add something to the circuit.

Could you post a photo of center feature? That might be an interesting way to go. I really wasn't looking for another Vintage right now, in fact if I bought this one I was considering selling the Mizuho.

I received a bunch of pictures of the machine. Never made them an offer. I might consider talking to them some more if things slow down a bit for me. I really don't think I will offer more than $75 considering the 2 hour drive one-way.
