    Default 1000 pachinko balls

So I see there is s a seller that is consistently selling 500-1000 balls for $24.99 starting, though ends up at 35$. Is the increase bidding to $35 the norm for balls or does bidding some times stay under $30...for the 1000 balls.

It really depends on the day and auction. I have seen auctions for 1,000 balls go without bids, and I have seen people pay well over $50 for them. If you don't want to play the auction game, either search for the "Buy it Now" auctions, or go to Vintage Pachinko.com.

You have to use a sniping program on eBay to get them that cheap.
    That's 3 cents a ball and that's a very good price!
I always bid on 2,000 ball lots but rarely win.
I have enough balls until I build hoppers for some of my machines.
Just keep bidding and eventually you'll win or do as JACKSJE4 suggests and select Buy it Now.
I think the Buy it Now on eBay with GoldenStateTraders is less than Vintage Pachinko.com.
Yes the Buy it Now price on eBay is cheaper and comes with a Tray as well.

I was bidding on 1000 balls too. Sold (to someone else) for $36! I'm going to start paying attention to this pattern from now on.

So like I figured, expect to pay/bid over $35 +shipping for 1000 balls on Ebay. Bidding will never stay under $30.

I don't get it, if you are spending that kind of money you might as well get a tray with it.
Bidding never is $30 it's always higher.
I even have an extra 800 balls or so (mainly because the vintage is in the closet until the new table gets here.
I will bid when I want balls but never more than what I want to pay. I've never gotten balls super cheap
on eBay there are just too many bidders. I have gotten some good deals tho but in the last
30 seconds you see all the bids pour in.

I have only bought balls once (1000 with tray from GoldenStateTraders on ebay). I don't feel like I got an exceptional deal but they were great to work with and I intend to purchase from them again.

Funny how when you bid you don't get the tray but when you Buy It Now you do get the tray.
I wonder if GoldenStateTraders really has the smoke colored trays or if they are varied colors?

I have only purchased once from Golden State Traders, the tray they included was smoke colored. I may be ordering another 1000 with tray soon. I will see if the tray is smoke colored as well.

I have only bought on ebay, always at .04 or .05 per ball, in 500 ball lots. Once 1000 balls from GST01 (ebay), mentioned that others got a tray, recieved balls...no tray.

in the old days you could snipe a thousand balls from slotusa for 15 to 20 bucks plus 11.00 shipping

and a lot of times they would send a second chance offer to me for my lower bid

the balls did have light rust film which cleaned off easliy

You always seem to pay more for 500 balls than 1,000 or 2,000 balls.
I usually buy 2,000 at a whack. I like the balls really clean not covered in rust.
I think that is why Pachinko parlors have ball cleaners.
I bet they cost a pretty penny too.
Maybe ComatsuTrading will have some for sale?

I ordered 2,000 balls, Buy It Now from GoldenState last Saturday, and I hope to have them by the end of the week:

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/2000-Real-Pa...item43ac3c331e

I could have done better by auction, but the Mrs. suggested "So how many balls do you need for your machine?" It was an offer of the moment I had to seize on. Buy it NOW.

It comes out to $0.05 per ball anyway. I currently have 263 balls to share between two machines. Now I'll have plenty.

with slotusa you never really saw rust on the balls, just some rust dust in the clear packages

...so it's safe to say the bidding for 1000 balls will start at $24 and end up over $35...
I need balls but I don't want to pay as much as 'Vintage' is selling them for, if you can get them cheaper.
I"m getting tired of watching the listing for 2 days hoping it will stay under $30 and it never does, so then I have to wait for the next bidding period...and watch...again. But I guess that's the price you pay if you want them as cheap as you can get.

Just keep bidding eventually you might win at a low price. But there are a LOT of people competing out there.
CustomPachinko sells 500 balls for $33.99 including shipping. 1,000 balls will cost $64.45
That includes shpping. On eBay don't forget to add the $10.50 for shipping each order.
It would be great to buy non-rusty balls for 3 cents a ball but it doesn't happen often.

This is crazy! I can't believe I'm going to have to pay as much for balls, as I paid for my machine!!!
My new found 'pachinko' interest has become a little costly...
Might just have to go 500...but between 2-3 machines???

Don't skimp on the balls, buy 1,000 and then you can split them between 2-3 machines.
I have 1 vintage and 3 moderns and I have 4,500 balls between them.
You can use 300 on a vintage machine but on a modern like my Julie you actually need a hopper
full of balls or a ball lifter. When you hit a fever on a modern it's a LOT of balls.
I run about 500 balls in the vintage normally and that allows me to play for a while.
You could get away with 300 no problem. Balls are a good investment because
they really don't drop in value very much. If you pay 4-5 cents each you would be able
to sell them for about that, if you decide to give up Pachinko.
    Like that's going to happen.

I sell Pachinko balls locally in Denver - $30 for 500 (.06 cents each). I would be happy to make you the same deal, or sell you 1000 for $60, but you would also need to add in $10.50 for shipping. I don't know if that is a better deal than what you are seeing on eBay or not, but I thought I would offer.

Send me a PM with your mailing and Paypal info if you are interested.
