Default My Herman Munster Pachinko Project

Well I finally finished my "Herman Munster" Pachinko project.
The thing is, this is not a permanant setup, someday I will build or have built permanent cabinets that are exactly what I want.
For right now I wanted something that works, is cheap and portable and easy to take apart.
The first thing you will notice is the Herman Munster feet.
These are 6"x6"'s that I bought at the local lumber yard. They measure 5.5" square.
The guy was nice enough to cut them to 12" length for free! He screwed up the last 2 pieces so those are a loss.
The 6"x6"x8' pressure lumber treated cost me $22 and no fee for cutting. Most lumber places will not cut 6x6's including Home Depot and Lowes.
I lined everything up as square as possible, predrilled the holes and sunk 2-3/4" screws into them. I did have to remove the transformers.
Now why did I use 6x6's? Because the height allows the 4" high Sterilite container (courtesy of Moparformances) to fit underneath.
I have 12 of these baskets on order, with shipping it's costing me $31. None of the local stores sell this particular container.
I have tested this container with 2,500 balls. It's tough enough to take it, so it's well worth 3 bucks a piece.
The Herman Munster feet have 2 benefits. One in that it can be used to collect the balls in the back and Two you can slide it to the front and dump your winnings into the same container.
I bought a funnel at Lowes for $2.59 and that attaches to the back with metal plumbers tape. This funnel will work for pachi that have 2 ball exits as well as a single ball exit. See pic.
Yes, the door will open but you'd need to trim it with a dremel to get a bit of extra clearance.
I didn't bother because after testing them for a while, I am going to sand these down and paint them with a nice semi-gloss paint.
I've tested this setup by playing and with ball dumps. It works really really well.
My Pachi now sit on a 72" long x 18" wide x 29" high utility table from Sam's Club. It cost about $68.
The playing height is perfect for a 30 inch barstool. I have 2 of those so it's ideal for them.
I'd like to add it's also an ideal height if you want to play standing up!
My wife is 4'10" tall and she can play with no problem. I am 5'8" tall and it's also no problem for me either.
My wife does prefer to sit rather than play standing up as it's about 2 inches too high for her when standing up.
She can play standing but she prefers to sit as she's higher than standing.
I am using LED lights from Lowes. They clip on the back and I velcro'd the switches to the top front.
These LED lights are super bright and are 35 watts. They were on sale for $15 each.
Thanks to PachiTalk member Mbodi for suggesting these lights. They are awesome!
I was originally going to take a video of the whole thing working, but my wife has caught a cold so I took pics instead.
This setup is cheap, solid as a rock and easy to move.
These do not replace the nice looking finished cabinets so many members make. Rather this is a nice easy setup that will work until
you can make a really nice set of cabinets and you still have the ball collection accessible from the front so you don't need to reach around
    the back.
Now all I need to do is make some ball hoppers for each machine.
