Finally got to work on the dispenser.
Tried it as is, but the coins kept getting hung up in different places in the unit.
The unit itself holds 42 balls.
Took it all apart, then disassebled every thing I could, then cleaned and lubricated all moving parts with (no residue) silicone.
Found a small spring laying loose inside the mechanism with the gears and counterweights. Couldn't tell exactly where it went, but took a logical guess. Looking in the dispensing mech with the gears, was like looking inside the back of a wrist watch. Fairly sophisticated unit.
Put everything back together and works perfect every time with 100 yen coins. 25 balls for each coin.
Will have some 500 yen coins in a couple of days. Hoping it will work fine with them also. Should be 125 balls for each, like Ian mentioned.
If the chute is in position over the ball tray, the balls flow right into the tray. If it is in the up position, the balls drop into it, but won't come out until you push up on the chrome sleeve, with a container underneath to catch them.
Doesn't appear to be adjustable, but I could be wrong.

Got it back on the PF, and rigged up a hopper to feed it. Needs a little tweaking, but working pretty good.

Tested it out with 500 yen coins. 125 balls per coin.
    Amazing piece of equipment.
Ian, let me know if you need any coins for your dispenser. I have a few extra 100 yen.

Thank you. But I should be able to get some coins from my tutor or friends plus think of the postage costs

Number on my unit is 530111 and the cover is 53113.
    Does it work?

I'm not sure what size a weight a ¥100 coin is. But a Pachi token didn't work after I bypassed the coin mech.

perhaps those are inspector numbers. Did any of them come with the frame they attach to?

No, Just the unit its self. Amazing piece of kit though.
I thought an inspection stamp as it has a red kanji stamp next to it,

one of these would be neat with a cabinet.. load the hopper like normal for the balls to fill the back.. and punch a small hole in the side to keep the dispenser full as well..

i have always adjusted the nails loose so the machine at least payed out 100% or so... that way the player did not have to keep stealing balls to play but with that setup you could have a tight machiens and pay to play just like a parlor..
