Just got the list. Seems odd that many that listed on his site are not on here, so it may not be a full list, but I've asked for a few to confirm. Either way, this is what they sent me. Here you go:

    RESCUE DOGS
    LASSEN WORLD
    CATS EYE
    CHARLIE CHAPLIN
    ROBO COP
    BUNGEE JUMP
    LION KING
    JAWS
    EVANGELION
    CAPTAIN HERLOCK
    MUMMY RETURNS
    CASINO KING
    THE RING
    ROCKY
    FREDDY VS. JASON
    GAMERA
    MARKCRAJA
    GOD ZILLA
    BITSY CASINO
    KING KONG
    WOODY WOOD PECKER
    GALAXEY RAILROAD
    RAMBO
    TOP GUN
    PINKY & GANG
    THUNDERBIRDS
    WHITE ANGEL
    PLANET OF APES
    JURASSIC PARK
    GHOST
    POPEYE
    SUPER BALLERINA
    BRUCE LEE
    MASK OF ZORRO
    LOVE LOVE OLIVE
    DIAMATTIA
    BATMAN RETURNS
    COBRA
    MAMBO
    MAGICAL CARPET
    BLADE
    7'S ROCK
    FEVER TWINS

    BATMAN ONE
    SHOWER
    WORLD SLUGGER
    ARABIAN KNIGHTS
    DOLPHIN
    AQUA 9
    ROAD STAR
    ARRIDIN
    OWL
    MT. FUJI
    SUMO WRESTLER
    BIG SHOOTER

The ones in blue are ones they've offered to sell me for $150 each. As a starter in the pachinko world, any worth the $150 if they have no warranty and (possibly) no balls included?

I doubt anyone is geting any kind or real warranty, now that Curt has passed and everything is for sale..

Oh, I expect as much, I just think that the warranty would increase the value in case something doesn't work for any reason. Still waiting to hear back about the balls, but what irks me is that many they said were "too expensive" for my offer of interest for any that they have for $150 shows things like Rambo, Jaws, Freddy v Jason, Popeye, and so on, that sold on their original site for around $175-190 with warranty and 400 balls. I'm iffy about jumping in and buying any of the others on the list of blue until I hear back atleast about the pachinko balls and if they're included or not, but you'd think with them wanting to do a quick sale and there being no more warranty, the prices would have dropped, not gone up.

I see a lot of old titles on that list and not trying to be a jerk but it seems that they are being very greedy when in such a hurry to clear everything out

I think it was mentioned before, but I would be willing to bet that there is an outstanding business loan or other debt that they are hoping to settle by selling the machines. Perhaps that is why they are valuing them so high. If all of this inventory was owned free and clear, and the family was anxious to liquidate it quickly, then I would imagine that they would be more willing to deal.

There will eventually come a point where it will all sell for what the buyer feels it's worth. It just might take some time for both sides to reach that point.

    Just my thoughts.

I think you are absolutely right. I was hoping this would be a way to get a great deal on a modern but looks like I will pass on trying to deal with them. To many gray areas.

After speaking with them a few times, no mention of "we HAVE to sell these" came up for any reason other than the fact that Curt's family is moving and transporting that would be difficult for them, especially if they're not wanting to continue his business. Robert (Curt's son) told me that Curt said before he passed to just sell it all, which could mean a debt, but they're looking to move pretty soon and want this stuff gone ASAP. He told me there was a small chance they may just keep the business running as well, but it seems pretty unlikely. Still no word on if single sales include any pachinko balls, but what makes me curious even more is how many things they had on the site originally aren't on that list (like Star Wars and any of the Spiderman/Marvel ones).

Based on my personal experiences dealing with Slot-Pachinko, the website was seldom current with their inventory. I had always presumed that either inventory changed fast, or that managing websites was not Curt's forte. Perhaps someone else did it for him on an less-than-occasional basis.

I agree, I remember seeing things on the site (Like Star Wars and the first Eva) literally years after they could not be found anyplace.

i would think rent on a warehouse that size would be expenxive to keep paying waiting for a buyer to clear it out

I'd say the BLUE list are all $100 tops. There are even a few on the BLACK list which should be in the BLUE list.

I'm going to make him some offers to get a few of them at cheaper than offered, but I'm also willing to ship any (either frame or cell) that people want off that list if I can get pricing and money is sent. If you don't want the frame, I'll take it and ship you just the cell. If you're interested, hit me up, I plan to make him an offer by this weekend, and I'll get pricing back to you ASAP.

Hey, of the list I posted, which would be the "best" of the list. Not really the most sought after or expensive, just the good ones that would be worth going for?

All pachinkos are great. Pick a theme that you have an interest or at least some knowledge of and you won't go far wrong.

I wouldn't mind getting a Planet of the Apes pachinko. Let me know what price you can get for the machine.

I've asked if it's ok to be a middle man and be the one that ships anything that sells to people on here, because they really sound like they're ready to be done. Haven't heard back yet on anything (my offer, asking for prices on numerous other machines, if it's ok to ship for others, etc) but once again, I'll update when I can

I find it a little odd too in all the times I talked to Curt he NEVER mentioned a Harlock machine or Cobra... I wonder what they want for them!
My GUESS is they would want to sell them whole to somebody...

There are about 3-4 on that list that I would pay $150 for but that's it.
I'd rather get newer machines this spring from Japan.
