    Default Any Takers?

I would definitely go for it if I had $25,000 just laying around.

No doubt about it, that is Slot-Pachinko's inventory. The description covers it pretty well as far as who it is.

I just wonder if it's worth $25K for a business to buy them?

I can't imagine you could really recoup the investment. Their estimate of $300-$400 for each machine is quite inflated. Add to that the cost of shipping all the stuff away from there. Seems like more trouble than it is worth.

I figure someone could make money on it, it says there's 300+ machines at $300 each is $90,000, thats not counting all the balls and tokens

I think there is definitely money to be made if it were local and I had a warehouse to store everything in. It however certainly would not be a quick return on the investment.

Sadly at that price their is no way to make retail money on it at that price. They are selling it for close to retail. I'm tempted to make them a counter offer but I just don't know enough about Pachinko yet. Plus you'd have to augment these older machines with new stuff from Japan. This will only work if you really want to start a full time business.
I have no clue how to order from Japan like the other companies do. If I did I might go for it as I'm looking for a new business, since my last job is gone due to the plant closing.
You can't just use a Yahoo Japan order form you need good prices from Japan from resellers who gve you good prices and then a slow boat with a big container to get here and then it gets fun.
It's a great hobby but a tough business.

Their is a lot in that store.. and if you advertise right you could make a killing in the pachinko buisness. i would say one out of every four people that play a pachinko machine has to have one. you can buy it, take out the top 20 machines you want for yourself and sell the rest as a fire sale. $150 each and make your money back. last time i was their their was a wall of slot machines also. If i was in dallas i would do it.

A business has to make a profit and by my eye that is 2 tractor trailer trucks worth of stuff there. That's at least $10K in shipping, depending where you live.
For me it'd be all of that and probably more. Storing that amount of machines is going to cost you unless you own a barn or own a storage facility.
It's cash up front and you might get it all back but as I recall many of Curts really good Pachi were sold already.
That's $150 each assuming the are all worth that but you also have to include 500 balls with each order and a key and make sure they work, plus shipping boxes which he has are expensive.
On top of that you have to warranty each machine and have the knowledge to help customers.
I'm sure they have been getting offers on stuff but let's say they sell the balls to someone, the machines they have are worthless. You can't sell pachinko machines
like that without balls. Now you have to import a lot of balls from Japan.

I'm just trying to be realistic as a business possibility. The machines minus the balls would be such a hard sell that you'd be lucky to get $50 per machine on Craigslist.

his contacts would be worth that price and if you can get a contianer of newer machines you would make a killing. most of his good machines were already gone.. your right. but if you *****d out his current inventory and got the new batch of newer better machines. you can make a killing.

So, like a Pachinko Consortium? I don't have a lot to invest so the works is out for me, but pooling together, it's a thought...

I would certainly consider investing after some research of course, which would require a trip to Texas.
