Wow, starting bids of $40. What would this cost to ship with all fees included to the states?

I am really curious about the second one. Looks like a mahjong theme to me.

You can use a translator but often times it doesn't work all that well.
If you do figure out how to get it better, I would love to know how.
It's a shame that shipping is so expensive from Japan.

Go to google translate. Switch it to Japanese to English and then put the URL in the box and press enter. It will then translate almost everything on the page. If you have google chrome there is a setting to make it so it automatically translates pages.

it's going to be alot. the max weight for EMS to ship to the US is 30 kilos and those definitely weigh more than that because of the cases. a typical arrange ball costs almost 400 to ship here by air. very exensive but it arrives in just a few days and is trackable. it can also be by slow boat but that takes 6 weeks or more and there's no tracking plus who nows how much they get shuffled around but people here have had good luck going that route. too risky for me for these rare machines. anyway, i once paid over 600 (ouch) just for shipping because the package had to go fedex due to it being overweight which i didn't know about until after the fact so there was an added 200 dollar charge and the machine didn't work. that was my eye-opening YJA lesson and is a whole other story in a whole other thread. anyway, i'm guessing to ship these would be over a thousand due to the added weight and the size and that's before all the other fees.

If you want one of these. You certainly need some funds behind it. Ever if you can't play it on Wednesdays. I guess they could be removed from their cases. You don't really need the coin collector in the base. It will certainly be interesting to see what they sell for. Good luck any bidders but I don't think SMJ or Japamart will want to touch these due to size and weight.

Actually I have done that but it doesn't always work, it doesn't work with graphics or hypertext at all either.

As bad as I want an arrangeball, these look to be too expensive and too much hassle to deal with.

I have an idea to save on shipping but it may take a while.

Wait up and buy as many machines as you can over there and then put them all in a container and have them shipped over here. It would certainly be cheaper per. machine.

the case i'm referring to and i think clam is too is the large gray enclosure around the machine itself, not the wooden frame that's part of arrange balls that the various parts are mounted on. the mahjong machine was kept intact and just placed in the larger case judging from the pics. probably the same with the other one. maybe a couple electrical connections to the gray case.

Storage in Japan is going to kill you. Shipping is expensive, storage is also expensive if you can even find someone to store it for you.

hmm... you got a point there. You'd need to find someone out in the country that has more land. The you can pay them dirt cheap for storage.
