Default Open call to collectors in UK

I have recieved correspondance from a fashion promoter wishing to obtain 1000 pachinko balls and also wanting to use some vintage pachinko machines for a fashion photoshoot and temporary display. This will be in the UK, so I can't really help them. If anyone in the UK has a nice vintage they would like to see professionally photographed and featured (or two, or three...) send me a PM and I will forward the contact information and details.

I would do it in a heartbeat if it wasnt so far away.

I can help with balls. But I only have one vintage and still needs cleaning and glass. as only has one piece of perspex. Plus does have staining on playing field.

Further correspndence reveals that the pachinko machines for the photoshoot need not be vintage.

If I was there I'd love to help out. I don't have many machines but I'd do it. I'm in the US tho.

    Thank you

I just get very nervous when any of my 'babies' are travelling long distances

I'm thinking Ian / Mr Clam is probably better located, and probably has more pachinko balls than I have at the moment
(pardon the expression), but I'll keep an eye on this thread to see what develops

    Either James or Ian.

can you see if there is a way we could view these pictures after the photographer is ready to publish them?

It would be cool to see what they are planning to do and how it turns out.

(I'm sure if this is a big thing pachinko sales will increase a little. )

Well I met Mr Ichihawa today, I was working just across the street from his studio. I was impressed with the design and material he is using, I'm still not 100% sure what the photo shoot and video will be like, But I'll be taking a couple of thousand balls up and 3 machines on tueday to North London.

London fashion week at the end of the month. I believe the video is for a music video. So MTV would be your best bet. I'll see what I can do

After sending 12 hours in a cold warehouse studio in North London with 3 machines and 5000 balls, Finally got back with 2 machines and 3000 balls, I left them with "merry go round 2" and 2000 balls to be used for promotional prop during London Fashion week. The cold got into the Sankyo and didn't work for the first 20 minutes. I took some pics but can't show you or I'd have to release the bots an blow up the server as its classified information Still very puzzled about whats going on. But the finished product should look awesome, Especially the singer swimming in a pool of pachi balls (just wished I'd brought more the 5000) Interesting effects using lasers, smoke and UV lighting. As soon as I get some proper pics sent to me. I'll post them here
