It's very possible that he had it made for himself. He certainly has the money.
I mean you could do the same with a vintage machine and make a cell (vinyl) with pics of yourself or your kids or
your favorite anime etc...
I mean not on a Powerflash or anything rare but something common like a Nishijin or like my Maruhon.

If I was going to restore or buy a restored machine I'd get a custom background for it.
