does your bulb have a part number on it???
Posting a pic of the bulb will help... i have a few exstra bulbs but i dont think any are 12"

Try taking a close up picture of the end with the writing. I may have an extra one of these bulbs.

That looks like an FL8 Lamp I get mine at home depot or lowes or ace hardware .You only measure the lamp from end of the metal to end of metal not from pin to pins. Just take the lamp with you and match it at the store. pet stores even carry them for aquariums.
