Default Popeye Video screen LCD playing up..help please

Just received my first machine a Popeye pachislo. It did have a fine line in the screen apparently.. i had to courier it to me.
Got it set up and all working fine, however there is an area down the side of the screen approx 2 inches wide where the video seems to be pixlating??

Does this mean i will need a new LCD or is this something else. I am handy and fairly technical minded, so i dont mind having a go!
    Help please

It may be a loose connection at the screen input. Check the terminal for bent pins or loose wires.Trace the wires back to the output and check that terminal as well.

Well..just an update. My popeye machine has corrected itself to a large degree. A big big difference. Tried all the connections but they seemed fine. Possibly just by bringing the machine up to room temperature and playing it has sorted most of this out. Possibly by standing upright? i dont know where this has been stored or used? All seems fine inside and having great fun playing it...Wow it sounds like a machine gun when it its jackpot mode!
Have already picked my second machine up for a bargain...`Time Park` by Yamasa...a sweet little machine. Will update with a couple of
photos when i get a minute..
