hello all, i am new here i found this in the attic. i dont know much about pachinko machines, from what i gatherthis is a nishijin sophia super deluxe. does anbody know anything about this?

The machine you have is interesting for two reasons:

1) The Green Star center attractaction is typical of 1973 machines and not 1974 machines.
2) The unusual sidetross attractions are considered value-added features making the machine more collectable.

Nice find. I would assume this would generate some reasonable interest. I would be interested in a shot of the back to see if it is a recycler or a "B" style. I suspect it is a recycler.

First off if you don't mind me asking what part of CA are you in?

On ebay with that machine pricing can go everywhere. I have seen ones like it sell for as little as around $10 and others sell for up to around $80. So it is really hard to say. It is mainly all on who you format your ad and what your pictures look like. (trust me you want good pictures because that is what sell machines)

Truthfully I think you better off trying to sell it on CL first before attempting on ebay where they will take a lot of $ away from you due to their fees. (and if you already have it on CL let the ad sit for close to a month first. It only takes one buyer to want it.)

oh and to make it simple you have a Nishijin Model B (theme: 5 Bells)built in about 1974

I thought so too. But then I looked around and this was about all that I could find. It looks similar but notice that the sidetross pockets are orange instead of green like member LAC's is.

Where in CA are you I may be close enough to just take it off your hands.

But keep in mind just because we all like the hobby doesn't mean we will pay top dollar for machines because we all know what they go for.

They suspect they want to limit their liability in case there is something wrong with the machine when the buyer receives it. You could abbreviate that statement by saying "Sold As-Is"
