Default Florida Pachinko And Slot Machine NOOB!!!

    Hi everyone!

OMG - I love these things : ) They are a cross between a video game and a transformer... I bought my first slot machine a year or so ago (It has a cool picture of a guy in a white turban and the theme is something about a ghost character) and tonight my wife surprised me with my first Pachinko Machine! It's a Sansei "Cotton Club" machine, and I'm totally stoked at all of the mechanic and clickies and whizzy thingies!!! AWESOME!!! So... I decided since it seems my game room will be filling up fast with all kinds of machines in the near future, I better get out on the internet and see what I'm getting myself into.

This forum seems to be THE place to come and 'talk shop' on these machines - and so far I have no experience at all with them. I want to learn as much as I can about them - I already have a light or two out on my machines, and no idea where to go to get bulbs or anything... but I'm looking forward to the adventure that is coming : )

I have seen many posts here, and there are so many friendly people here who seem to have an 'obsession' with these machines as I do - so I look forward to making friends here and learning as much as I can about our machines!

I'm fairly new here as well. Pachinko is a lot of fun. I have a Pachislo a vintage Pachinko machine and a bunch of modern Pachinko macines on order. This is a very friendly and helpful group.

    WELCOME to PachiTalk!

Well I can see you already own a machine so Welcome to the hobby. However this hobby does have a disclaimer:

Warning: pachinko machines tend to multiply very rapidly.

either way welcome to Pachitalk and if you have any questions feel free to ask.

    100 machines and counting...

Yah... I hate to say it, but I already found a Sankyo Fever Pac-World for 100 bucks that I am going to look at tommorrow, hehe. The entire upstiars of my house is one big open room, and we (the family) wants to turn it into a big game room. So... machine number three possibly on it's way tommorrow!!

It's a Sankyo Fever Pac-World Pachinko Game from 2001! The "Fam Cave" is starting to look really cool : ) This machine had a tempermental ball launcher knob thingy on it - looks like at some point i'll have to get in there and see if it is something fixable. I'm terrified to go in and start tinkering around with it, but I'm smart enough to go slow - read lots of forum entries and look at tons of YouTube repair videos and see just how well I can do : )

One thing to make sure when you are using the shooter knob. Make sure your fingers are touching the earth ring on the back of the knob. If you just turn it from the front without a full grip, It will not shoot. My wife has this problem as she has small hands
That might solve your problem. If not there are plenty of people who can advise here

Congrats on the Pac World. I had my eyes on that one but it was a bit far to travel.

If your ever in the Orlando area you can check out my attic pachi room. I'll show you how quickly they breed.
