ouch! it looks like around 420 miles (or a 7 hour trip one way) from Albuquerque to Odessa,
so much for being closer!

When you add Denton,Tx. (home of the University of North Texas a.k.a. UNT) into the mix, it's called The Golden Triangle (a.k.a. a whole lotta folks!),
so, for the most part, Ft. Worth is way far away from Odessa as well
