Smile Over 70 machines and I finally find a PF

Well I have finally been able to add a Powerflash to my collection of over 70 machines. I know it is a china man though I like the look of the china man versus the t-bird.

It isn't in the greatest shape. But all the issues can and will be fixed. This machine is going to have a new playfield, rechromed frame, and most likely a new veneer on the front. And if I feel like it; it will probably also get a cabinet. Though this machine may have to wait a while for that. (maybe at least till after Christmas)

But I am happy with my purchase even though it is a tad rough after all is said and done there is money to still be made if I ever sell it.

And Eric (if you do become a member) this is where I'll be updating about this machine.

Sorry if the picture quality is a little low. I just realized I reduced the resolution on my camera. There will be more before pictures once I start to work on the machine.

They pop up here and there. It usually takes a while before you can find one. And usually they aren't cheap.

    Looks good.
PM me me your mailing adress, and I'll send you some new stickers for it.
Still have a few left, if anyone else with a pf needs a set.

Well I thought I'd give a little update on this machine.

I haven't done much of anything to it yet. Other than hook it up to power and test it. (thanks mopar for the transformer)

also here is a short video just as an update. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=km20MdWTUOA (sorry if it is side ways I'm trying to fix it.)

I also go a new background for it but I may do a custom one on it. I will use the blue one for something else though.

I keep saying I'll get Derek or Shag to do a background but I found the next best thing. http://www.misterretro.com/vector-art yes it is a tad expensive but personally i'd use it a lot. This is what I was thinking to use as the background for my PF
    high_roller.jpg
I thought this would make for a good background due to the fact that the Ace is the only thing missing from the 4 corners of the playfield. Plus the whole machine has to do with cards anyways. so cards don't mean that gambling ain't far away.

Derek is willing to do a background for us but we just contacted him at a busy time but we will eventually have him do one for us.

I'll update this thread once I have some more info.

I have to play with them. I have have hooked it up backward, Not 100% sure. I did push the contacts on the switches together and nothing. It could have also been my temporary connection not touching right. I haven't checked the fuse or the bulbs yet. But that is all simple to do and take only a few minutes. Worse comes to worse I may have to replace the bulbs or the fuse, big deal.

I'll get them fix. I'm just glad that the solenoids and everything are working.
