Default Best way to shut down a Pachislo?

Hello, Just bought my first Pachislo (Spiderman 2). Check out my home theater in the home theater section. It sits in my theater room; I don't use my theater that much. Once a week if that. I don't want to leave the machine on all the time. Does it make a difference to unplug the machine from the wall or use the on/off switch inside the machine? Your advise! Thank you in advance to all who reply.

Always use a switched outlet or a powerstrip to turn off the machine, or unplug it when not in use. The power switch inside leaves the transformer energized wasting power and risking it overheating.

I personally use these switchable power strips, so I can control individual machines.
Makes it real convenient to just turn on one at a time.

I've gotten them from both CyberGuys, and on Amazon.

I wire in a toggle switch to each transformer on my machines, because I open them to get the tokens anyway, so I flip the switch when I open the door.
