Default Vintage Nishijin Shiroi Kamome Pachinko Game Machine

I know it looks like it is a standard late Model B machine. But the thing that seemed interesting is the Center Feature. It is a No More War 3. I have only seen the No More War 2's this is the first 3 I have seen. (Plus it seemed appropriate to post on Dec.7th )

I have only seen a No More War 3 machine once before. I believe they are few, and cherished.

    Thanks for posting today.

I'm wondering if this one is worth buying. I'd worry if it wasn't working as it could be a problem to fix. Also the pins look a lot like my Maruhon. Very similar pin layout.

The only issues I can see is that:
    A. it is missing the white ball retainer (member cardwwi sells reproduction ones)
    B. the clear jackpot cover is missing. No big deal
    C. someone yanked out all the lights and wires. Easy fix.

Other than that it looks to be complete and in decent shape.

Thanks, I still haven't decided if I should go for it or not, but it's good to know it's not a hard fix at least initially looking at it.

I've got 1,2 and 3. It took awhile, believe me!

The pins are standardized. This is why they are the same or at least very close.

"In 1948 Shoichi Masamura introduced the masamura gage. Prior to this innovation, balls followed mostly vertical paths through rows of nails. The Masamura gage allowed balls to bounce around, and if they missed one pocket, they might still score in a lower one. By 1952 nearly all machines had adopted the Masamura gage."

Thanks Tom, I had no idea about that. Although I guess they've kinda changed a little over the years. The modern ones seem to have similar pin layouts to each other on their machines too.

I thought the "No more War" machines were all produced by Heiwa. Learn something new every day I guess.

The few that I have restored have all been Nishijin machines.

over the years most I have seen were Nishijin, I have seen 2 or 3 Heiwa and I would bet money I have seen one from another brand but who knows if center features were swapped at some point
