Arrow My second SS odd brand

Okay this is the second SS I have bought. I don’t know much about it and I couldn’t find any info here on PT. I bought the machine about a month ago. For those of you who can remember it was the one SS that was on the Goodwill auction site. Anyways I ended up winning the auction. (Not telling what I paid.)

This one caught my eye because of the one sticker on the playfield that appeared to say Sin Gin on it. I couldn’t find a brand anywhere when I got home. So I’m thinking that the Sin Gin may be the brand. Has anyone seen one like this?

Also this thing looks to be in fairly decent shape. Don’t mind all the stuff on the frame because someone used some cheap gold paint on it; but that will all be coming off. I think the mechanics look a little familiar to me but I don’t know what machine has similar ones.

Also the other thing I noticed is that someone wrote a whole bunch of stuff in Japanese on the back of it. We started to translate some of it but it didn’t make much sense. We will investigate into it a little farther later.

Wait before anyone posts because I have a ton of pictures that I will need to load in 2 different threads.

I forgot to mention that it looks like it has the experation tag still on it and I'm guessing it should be either 64 or 65. (3rd and 4th pics of post #1)

absolutely great machine and a fine example of the type of cel graphics that make those machines so appealing.

Okay I looked through emmadog's album and came across this one machine.▼ You have it as 63 singin. I'm guessing 63 is the year or is it machine # because there were ones with like 8 and 12.

I want that one. Though I'm sure that guy will probably never sell it. (though if he does he'll probably want a lot for it)

Very nice! Glad you could rescue it! I would try to preserve the Japanese writing on the back! Looks like it functions very much like a Ginza. You shouldn't have any problems figuring it out. If you do, just post...or PM me. I've spent a few hours behind these!

That writing looks more like graffiti than makers markings.

    Looks very cool Great find

That Sin-Gin sign thing with the telephone number on it would suggest to me that Sin-Gin was a distributor or something.
Never seen a manufacturer that puts their telephone number under their name. Maybe that was the distributor in Japan
at the time. I remember the fact that my macross and vicky chance's boxes had weird stuff on em like that. They had the
name and their funky telephone numbers right below it.

Don't quote me on that though!

Well if that isn't the brand name I don't know what is, because I can't find a name anywhere else on the machine.

I saw your long lost twin brother here on Pachitalk! I tried to copy and paste the URL... "invalid file". Search "my new Sin Gin machine", started by Cystic on 28FEB10. The machine looks like an identical twin!

YES! Thank you! I tried searching as I suggested and it did not work...pulled up everything except Sin Gin! I found it by accident the 1st time, and the hard way the 2nd time! How do you post a link? I tried to copy and paste the line that was at the top that looked like the address into the "from website" line of the "select files" box. All I got was "invalid address", or something like that.

    hope that makes sense???

Thanks pachiwall for discovering that thread. It is the same exact type of machine as mine. At least it looks like mine is complete. (too bad mine isn't as nice looking though)
