Anyway... with Sam's... in PA with the sales tax the total is around $270.
I compare that to $200 plus shipping. There would have to be some pretty high end machines for me to put that much into them.

But I miss my DD... hmmm... maybe if our Sam's has one of those now...

I think Sams Pearl City is bringing them out in small bunches. There was no DD on Sunday but on Tuesday there were 2. There were also 2 speed racers that seemed to be in good shape...

Personally, I bought one on e-bay that arrived not working...and it was NOT an easy fix. Thankfully thru this site, I hooked up with At-Slots and he not only fixed my machine, but I bought two Babels from him. They are in great condition and I thought the price was fair. Given my limited experience, I'd say that looking at the machine, playing it and having it put in the back of my van was much better than paying $70 for shipping, dragging it in and unpacking only to find problems inside the box. Just one thing At-Slots, next machine I buy from you (which I will), you have to follow me home and carry it in the house for me....

Sorry Jay, I didn't mean to imply that At-Slots had a store. He's just a guy with an expensive hobby.....he is totally into Pachislos...all kinds, working and for parts. Send him a PM if you're interested.

dawn,, if you go to at-slots any time soon, make sure you go in nice weather,, i was down to at-slots the other night and he is so packed with machines,, there's no room to move,, how ever he is working on a new project,, a wall of machines on tables so when you go in and hit the switch...WOW,,, 40 or so pachislo's come to life and are all ready to play,,,

I like my Babel too! It's a very fun machine. Babel and Mephisto are hands down the best 4th reel (non-LCD or LED) machines around IMO. Especially if you can get them under $200 total!!!
