Vintage Pachinko Machine - NISHIJIN UFO - Model B

Was able to overlay modern electronics on this vintage...

Not sure how the original game played, so made up a program that lets the "alien out" of the UFO a lot.

I like the UFO themed nishijin. But I don't own the nishijin one. But I have a UFO themed hewia so it is good enough.

Pretty looking machine. What type of electronics did you use.

CLICK PLC with output expansion module; 2 relays and a 300 second, USB sound board from Electronics 123.com... will post more information soon...

WOW! that machine has a lot going on behind it. Looks like it is similar to the circuit racer machine. Does it hinge open like Circuit & Powerflash? Since the machine is mechanical...what does all the gizmos on back do? Amazing job on the chrome and other details!

It does have a separate piece of wood that hinges open - just like the CircuiT machine and the PowerFlash.

This machine had bad electronics, the wood on the back and all the gizmos are just to replace the electronics. I couldn't fit it in a smaller space and had to add the wood - although the wood and the attached gizmos are also hinged... I did add an inexpensive sound board...

The original machine had a servo and ten 24V playfield lights. I'm not sure how it actually functioned. I made up my own program... tried to make it fun?
Cleaning up the machine took about three nights... the electronics overlay (my second) took about five nights - had one bulb that was really tempermental and had to take the whole thing apart a few times to troubleshoot. Tried to make it eay to work on, although, I do agree, it looks intimidating in the pictures. Also tried to make it easy to get at the ball dump lever, the front door access lever and the see saw reset pin.

hard to search pachitalk for a ufo pachinko..

does anyone have an original machine so i can know if the one im working on is correct...


mine is allot like carl has his but its only 5 balls to cycle.. almost exactly the same as a circuit racer machine
