Default New Gem From E-Bay Sale

    Hey folks,

Back in the 70s I bought one of the old type Pachinko machines, installed it the family room wall, and everyone enjoyed playing it. When we sold the house in 1982, I left the Pachinko game stay with the house, and I have regretted it ever since.

Just before coming home from Florida a few weeks ago, I found a vendor selling Pachislo machines and asked him about Pachinko machines. He said he would bring a couple for me to see the next day, and I bought one (Fever 7 Flash) just before we hooked up our camper to start home. When we got home and started to play it, it was a hit with my kids and their children.

Since then, I have purchased 6,000 balls on E-Bay and a second modern machine. Slotter said that since I had 6,000 balls, I would need a third machine for all those balls. Well, Since I have joined this forum, Slotter sure seems like a very wise person, so I thought it would be best if I would follow his advice.

Today I bought a third machine on E-Bay (Item number: 8175923208). This machine is one of the old types and looks very good on the E-Bay pictures furnished by the vendor. It is listed as an Okumura-Yuki machine and has a lion, a mouse, and the Statute of Liberty on the play field. I asked the vendor about the machine, and he said it is in full working order and that it is very nice cosmetically. It sure looks nice on the pictures.

My wife knows I bought the old machine today, and she is not very happy about it. She actually has no idea about the #2 machine I bought a few days ago, and I do not think that is going to go well at all. Do you think I could tell her that Slotter made me do it? After all, wouldn't any reasonable person listen to what someone as wise as Slotter had to say? I hope she buys the Slotter thing.

    Best wishes,
    Dave Wile

Feel free to blame anything you want to on Slotter.
He can take it... it's part of his mod training.

It has worked for me a number of times, right after I stopped blaming Tulsa, David R., Arbycoffee, Lddrzzt, Gwarzin, Bilko44, and Davis.

If that doesn't work, blame it on the computer. Everyone else does.

Just don't blame anything on me.
I didn't do it, and nobody saw me do it.

tell her you hit the buy button instead of the back button on ebay.

or you could say someone stole your password and bid on it.

    NoÂ… noÂ… no...The above answers wonÂ’t help you!

Think this out -- Use female logic... You bought 6000 balls and found out later that really didnÂ’t need that many for 2 machines so you wasted $60 or so. You felt so darn bad about wasting the money that you decided that even though you didnÂ’t really want another machine, you decided to go ahead and get a third one just so the $60 would be put to use.

So, in then end, you didnÂ’t buy another machine, you merely saved $60!

Wow, I love these machines! And I haven't even received the 2nd and 3rd machines as yet.

    Hey Folks,

Do many of the folks here have both Pachinko and Pachislo machines? As long as I can remember, I have always loved pinball machines, and it was a natural thing for me to be attracted to Pachinko. I have never been a great fan of gambling and slot machines, but, since I have been playing this Fever Seven Flash, I find the three reels to be so magnetic that I am thinking I might just like trying a Pachislo machine. The spinning reels are very exciting.

I still do not know the name of the 2nd machine I bought, but I bought it because it has a similar look and feel as my first one, and it has the three wheels to watch. Maybe there will be a Pachislo for me in the future.

    Best wishes,
    Dave Wile

Of course a Pachislo is in your future. Just buy the tokens first and go from there...

    It's not that easy.

You also owe her a meal out at a nice restaurant, a movie at a real theater (no video rental in this case), an I Love You card ( the gushier, the better) and something special like a pair of earrings, perfume or the like.

Your faux pas has got to be worth more for her to forgive and possibly forget.

Grovelling doesn't hurt either, if all else fails.

may be a hot bath and wash her back, than dry her off, take a little blue pill, love her long time. She will be hoping you buy another machine real soon.

    Hey Arby,

That might have been a fine idea some years ago, but, at my age, I think I would be better off taking my punishment. Besides, that blue pill gives me a headache.

If you take the little blue pill and you get a headache, may be you are just doing it wrong.

    Hey Tech,

I'm getting to the point where I'm not even sure what the blue pill is for.

    Best wishes,
