I think I'm at a total of about 72 but I think only 60 or so actually work as is. And only 5 I have cleaned and would play.

Though some of the ones you own I would love to have (like that one isuzu machine)

    100 machines and counting...

Hey owen, that first 73 Nishijin you posted up is an oddball, it has a 1974 background on it. 49S-03. I got that one redone recently by my grahics guy and it's avaiable if you decide to replace it.

I think I'm at 55 now. I've quit buying for awhile. Especially from Ebay. I've had quite a few delivered broken and I hate that. I have to say each seller has been fair so far in some reimbursement. I think only a few that arent opperational. Some need new glass and lower track covers. I've just run out of room for anymore.

55!? Wow! I guess I am a light weight. I only have 10 Pachinko machines in my personal collection, and another 12 or so for refurbishing/selling.

If you add in the Allwin, slot, and other unusual machines I own, then the number for my personal collection is about double.

But the ones you have in your collection are truly rare. (well most are)

That machine is strange, only one win light in the cover for the back of the center feature, nothing even drilled out in the frame for more lights. It has some bad separation of layers to the back of the cell and it was missing some hard to find bits from the shooter so it went the way of the parts pile keeping two other machines alive and but for the ball track cover on one and the see-saw covers on them both they are now complete. It was such a sore thumb machine anyway, it felt like it was made of spare parts the first time I looked at it.

Good point MX. I remember an episode of American Pickers that clearly had a Pachinko machine on one of their searches and they totally had no interest in it. I guess we're a crazy niche group! Proud of it!

Here are pics of the 1974 Nishijin "5 bells" I picked up from goodwill online for $36 the other day. I am very excited about this one as it has the side tross style pockets. It is in great shape and other that the butchered wiring and missing jackpot cover it is all there and wonderful. Sadly it will be a while before I get feet on it and clean it up as I have 5 in line in front of it. Three are somewhat apart right now and they have priority so I don't lose anything.
