Default Nishijin Shiroi Kamome (I went and did it again)

This makes 5 Pachinko machines basically since the month of September. I have promised to slow down now since the number of machines now matches the number of our fabulous, handsome, beautiful, talented GRANDCHILDREN. This a Super Deluxe from Nishijin with "Have a nice day" on the front too.
This one has stickers from Pachinko Palace in Texas. It also came with directions from Pachinko Palace dated 1976. The people that sold it to me had picked it up at a garage sale, so it barely had any balls with it.

Pictures? Sure thing. BTW it didn't load the jackpot or pay off at first. Then I found and removed a small piece of wire from the track, and ... Presto!

also btw the green bottle in the first picture is wheel cleaner from turtle wax. It seems to work about as well as simple green for me.

The center feature is not very common from what I can tell, but let me know if someone knows.

The left payoff hole opens the right "butterflies" and vice versa. "Butterflies" are how the directions referred to the tulips.

Wiring is a little jacked up on the back and I think there may be two bulbs for the jackpot. One of them is hanging outside in the shots of the back.

She is a beauty, and it sounds like you have found the same slippery slope of "OK...Just one more machine" that the rest of us have.

I have restored several of this model machine. There should be two jackpot lights behind the center feature under the clear plastic cover, and I have also seen one on the upper right (when viewing from the back) in the slot just above the empty ball hopper light. Your leaf switches need some adjustment, but it looks like you have everything you need there to get it working again.

The cell looks like it is good shape, and the the overall condition looks good. She is a keeper!!

Looks great and clean too. So 1 per grandchild. Then you need at least one more for yourself. Then one for guests etc etc etc

I think you may be getting to the point where you can start buying in bulk like me (The costco method works great for these) Congrats on the new machine. I have never seen one of those center features. I'm sure it is really cool.

    100 machines and counting...

    Steven,
Just in case you didn't already figure it out - that center jackpot light bulb may be too big to fit into the space in the middle cylinder; just use a smaller bulb... looks like all the hardware is there...

These 1974 machines are lots of fun... I picked up this same one with the same center attraction last month, except it had the 49S-03 background graphics as opposed to the 49S-01 that yours has. And then out of the blue, I have a client send me the exact same one for restoration. Iv'e been calling this one the "woodpecker" for the little birds on either side.

I just finished the restoration so I will be posting a video later tonight after I get my wife to make one for me...LOL!
