    Hi all,

I would be interested in more information about pachinko Cabinets. I have been working on a design etc. but I always end up missing something.
I think a kit should not cost too much to ship from Japan.

Actually we can do kits but the only problem will be that since there are so many different wiring methods it will be difficult to make one that woks for all.
Normally we export our machines with these installed as one package. I think what we can do is if you tell us your machine we can
try to make one that works for your specific machine. If there are enough people interested I think we can try to get some work started,

The look like they include battle counters etc. I guess you still have to reach around to reload balls for the top ones? I am
intrigued but they also look rather expensive not even including the shipping! The DO look really nice though!
PURELY out of curiosity what does one cost BEFORE shipping?

Actually, they all come with the automatic ball lifter so no reloading will be necessary!!
And you also get the score record system that will tell you the score.
These are currently made by our sister company and they are shipped out with machines as one package for export.
What I would like to know is how much people would actually pay for one of these cabinets.
Because it is very possible that I might be able to get them to make kits.

Well like We talked about before with the pachinko machine! I would think a price would be well OVER $400 before shipping...
The ball lifters go for $200-$300 and Battle Counters go for a little over $100. That case is really nice looking too!
If you get them at the right price INCLUDING shipping there should be some takers here!

I think you're gonna find that it will be difficult to get members to pay for the cabinet, ball lifter, shipping etc, for an item that is definitely great to have but not necessary for playing.Maybe offer a volume discount for ordering more than one.Tough crowd here.

This hobby is one of opportunity for most of us. We not only collect the machines because they fascinate us, or we enjoy the Japanese culture or whatever the reason is, we collect them because they are affordable. The collections span several years for most of us and we have a variety of machines.

I have to say the cabinets you are potentially offering are exceptionally attractive and I think they would interest the majority of the members here. However, as most of us are more-or-less middle class and have limited amounts of discretionary money, we add to our collections primarily when we run into a deal we can't pass up and have the cash on hand to do so.

Many members build their own cabinets and ball handling gadgetry. I think it's half the fun for many of us. As such, I think you will most certainly have an interest here for the cabinets, but much like our collections, you may do better if the item is offered piecemeal, in other words, offer us a cabinet with the option of expanding it to something with a ball lifter or bill-changer, etc. later. Something attractive and functional in itself, but maybe with cutouts behind the fascia for the add-ons. And I think to save on shipping, maybe something to be assembled in the home, much like Ikea.

I realize you must make a profit on these in order to even offer them, but I think you may limit your market if these are priced anywhere upwards of a couple hundred dollars on the smaller pachinko cabinets, or three to four hundred dollars on the floor models, and even those prices may be too high in our current state of economy.

I believe what most would be concerned about would be the space a cabinet that would take up, I myself would love to have one but I only have room for wall hangers so there for I have to build my cabinet when time allows. If kits were available im sure that you would find some takers in here that have the room. What really needs to be done is, someone needs to come up with a wall cabinet in a kit setup, unfinished and customizable to their flavor then the options to sell could be wide open, but the price would have to be comparable to buying the stuff yourself and building it minus the time it takes to build...

I think just the cabinet as a kit without any electronics will definitely be possible, upgrades can be allowed just by leaving the parts out. But our worries are that it might be difficult to install it at a later time.
I understand that the price can be a real problem, thats why we are currently working on a way to have our merchandise shipped from state side and that i think will help a lot.
IKEA would be a good idea, maybe if they had like a category just for game room interior where you could buy kits for everything from pachinkos to arcades.
With these cabinets, they come in different versions for different purposes, obviously the ones with more features will be more costly.
I will see if I can get them to give me a pricing for just the cabinet itself without the machines.

Out of interest. Which ball lifters are you using, The orange coloured ones? I heard they can be a bit noisy.

depending on how my job takes off starting next year I will be looking for a new machine or two and at that time I would be very interested in a kit with the counter and lifter.

Ikea or some other chain would be great but to me the real question is demand. There aren't many pachinko enthusiasts to begin with in the US and then of those, how many will buy cabinets? Enough interest for a chain store to dedicate some floor space, money for advertising, etc?

These cabinets are really beautiful - and would definitely be a nice addition to any game room - the real issue becomes justification. I am sure they are worth every penny but a penny spent on a cabinet is a penny not spent on another pachislo/pachinko. Most of us build our own because for $40 or less you can build a simple cabinet. With yours, all the extras would be really cool to have, but if a fully built and shipped cabinet cost $500 then that is the same as 2 pachislo machines - it's a tough tradeoff. It also stinks that the exchange rate is really poor these days.

All that said I would still like to hear what the pricing would be like. Would be cool to customize the backlit parts of the cabinet to match the machine!

I'm sure we'd all love to have cabinets like that, but like most everyone said cost would be the biggest problem with selling many here..

Now ball lifters on the other hand might sell pretty well here at the right price..
