What to get?

I thought I read SOMEWHERE here that sometimes those machines have lower Fever rounds. Instead of SAY 15 it goes only to 10... Others with far more knowledge will have to
confirm or deny. That is one reason why I do not mind the higher chance! I could get a better and longer Fever!

That shouldn't be a problem with sea story as all jackpots I've seen, seem to be 5 or 6 videos run in repitition. As for Maison, research will help

I personally would get the full version of any machine if I had a choice..I wouldn't want to miss out on any of the stuff they might have cut out of a light version or whatever..

Should be making a purchase by the end of the week. There goes christmas bonus Got a couple of options,
2 Sea Story Meds, one normal the other cyclic,
and a Maison Ikkoku with 2000 balls, But those balls add a lot to the shipping cost.

I don't think I would like a cyclic machine myself, it would take away the excitement of what these machines do,reward lots of balls.If it meant not getting a machine that you like , then that's different of course.What ever choice you make I am sure you will be pleased.

What is a cyclic machine vs a normal machine?

A cyclic machine is one that has been altered to send the balls back to the shooting tray instead of out the bottom or to the reward tray. It recycles the balls around and around from shooter tray to shooter tray. Some cyclic machines don't even payout reward balls ,the system has been bypassed. Does that help explain the question

I have converted some of my machines to full cyclic. the ones that don't pay out very often or don't pay out much. It makes it easier to runn them as you are not dealing with balls all the time. Yes it takes some of the interaction away but at least with modern machines there is so much going on that you end up forgetting that anything is missing from game play.

I have also done cyclic mods to two of my vintage machines that were too cool to part out yet had missing or non repairable parts that can't be replaced without killing another machine.

I've got one of those too!! Played tenor until I graduated H.S., now I only have an alto. It's around here somewhere...

Well I got a Eklhart alto sax. I had to stop playing about 7 years ago when my dog would attack and go mad if he saw or heard the sax. So its not been out of its box for a long time.

The poll is now closed. I sent deposit off to Juno and just waiting for auction to end to see if I got my option. Despite a late challenge from Ranma 1/2 sneaking in with a BIN of less than 11,000en.

Hmmm Ranma 1/2 I love the anime and Manga. Have many original cels as well. But the machine looks, videos and online feedback put me off. Why would a new machine (less than a year old) be so cheap They starting appearing on YJA 3 months after release. Maybe because they didn't make money in parlours for some reason ?

So to keep the option in the hands of the gods (Which ever god you follow) I bid the starting amount on the Maison Ikkoku. Auction had already ended before and been relisted with no bids. If no one bids I win. If some one does then its Super Sea story wins.
This machine came up top beacuse of the limited avaiilablity. Only 1 Maison in the past 3 months to 8 Super sea story. Player feedback in Japan (thank goodness for online translators) and youtube videos of machines in action. Also 2000 balls help especially here in the UK
I would still like a Super sea story. So That will be the following purchase

UPDATE TIME

Well the auction has ended. So now I'm the proud owner (In Spirit) of Japan's craziest apartment building Maison Ikkoku. Along with another 2000 balls

Inside the box is approx 2500 - 3000 balls ( going by weight) and the instruction manual (in japanese) for Maison Ikkoku. I'll scan it to PDF then either upload it or go through the long process of tranlating it into english.





Should take about 10 weeks to finally get the pachi here. I hope the floor is finished by then
