HelloÂ…here is the way I installed the autostop chip in my Sea Story Yamasa machine. The first time I installed it on my Kung Fu Lady I soldered in all the connections. When I sold the machine I had to unsolder all my work to reuse the chip. After giving it some thought, I decided I wanted a way to unhook the chip if I wanted to use it in another machine. ThatÂ’s when I decided to use mini clip leads and double sticky tape from Radio Shack.

If you buy 2 packages of leads and cut them in half you will have enough to use. I just soldered them to the chip socket and clipped them on as per their instructions. They really hold on great and will not come loose unless you unclip them. I mounted the chip on a piece of double sticky tape and mounted it under the board as shown. I used a multiple wire cable that had about 4 wires inside to run to the door.

On the wires that hook on the coin mechanism, I also used the clip leads soldered to the wires in the cable from the board. Just make a small nick in the appropriate wire and clip them on. The credit function works just great. I did not use the wire to the play handle because I didnÂ’t like the reels taking longer to stop than without it being hooked up. My reels auto stop quickly but randomly all the time. I hope this might help some of you that either want a quick and easy way to hook up the chip without modifying your machine, or for those of you that are not very good at soldering electronics.

That is a clean install Pachitom!

I am waiting for a plug and play system. Someone here was working on completing one to sell I think.

If that doesn't come about I will try the AutoSlot guy on ebay.

Spooner is working on one. I am waiting for it also. I think that there is a problem with his father-in-law. Spooner PM me a week ago and said that he should be back on Thursday (17th). But I have not heard from him.
