Ma's actually in a box on the mantle now, so no worries about Mandy. You should see some of the bunny girls I've printed

What better way to make you feel happy than a large box arriving from Japan

Actually reading back on this thead, some of the things refer back to page 4
Lots of goodies in this one

    DSC04809_zpszbebpkfd.jpg

To go with the framed winter uniform, the summer version has arrived with a cute Licca chan keyring.
Still hunting that school badge though

    DSC04811_zpspxhufzvr.jpg
Also the Harumi Kouno (Milfa) figure made by Alter (Only got Silfa to get now - Which I won at auction 2 days ago

    DSC04812_zpszg1sgg20.jpg

Add to this a 2 disc Blu Ray boxset of Perfume Music videos. I watched some of it already, and wow some of those early videos didn't age well.

    DSC04813_zpszblpcofv.jpg

Also a complete set of K-On figures by SQ and a Yui figure by Alter included in the set, which will probably end up on ebay unless someone here wants to make me an offer.
    DSC04814_zpsjv4nzs7m.jpg DSC04815_zpswf3npmnc.jpg

Now for something a bit more fun, a 1000 piece jigsaw of Haruhi Suzumiya Bunny version, that matches by 1/4 scale figures. Fun puzzle, completed it already

Got home to find this huge box waiting for me. Double boxed for safety so Jr has something he can play with for a while

    DSC04832.jpg

    DSC04834.jpg

Inside the outer box (apart from Jr) is the smaller inner box, wrapped in this with a paper that reminds me of what the fish and chip shop use, is the bubble wrapped core.

    DSC04835.jpgDSC04836.jpg

    DSC04837.jpg

Stripped out all the bubble wrap in layers of big and small bubbles, is the heart, a Ball Counter,

    DSC04838.jpg

Although I checked it over first, There are balls and tokens stuck in it everywhere. The mains feed wire is damaged, and the power switch not functioning. It also looks like the ticket printer has received a knock and been shunted forward. After a quick clear out, repair the wiring and bypass the power switch, it all boots up to flash the E-09, which I knew about before, So now, just have to have a full strip down and clean. Also noted that the left over ball payout has been blanked off

Here you can see the plastic inserted to stop the alls flowing down to the left.

    DSC04839.jpg

down the chute, then on the belt up to the front of the machine.

    DSC04840.jpg

Started stripping down and cleaning, Had the ball path and ir sensors out, But not tested. Cleaned all the housings and leds, then re-assembled.

    DSC04841.jpg

Need to find away of testing the sensors. although I note that the error message still flashes up with the sensors disconnected. So I assume one or more ir sensors is faulty (if it detects a break in the beam as no output signal - thus a broken sender or receiver would give no output and think a ball was stuck), or there is a fault on the motherboard end. I think I need a sender and receiver to test each one in turn. or has anyone got a good way of detecting ir light? although it should be possible to test the receivers directly on the board.

Just use the camera on your phone. They're usually very sensitive to IR light and you'll clearly see which LEDs are working and which are not.

The receivers are often wide band and not only sensitive to IR light, so may give a similar response with visible light. I've used a laser pointer to test them in the past, measure the voltage across them in circuit and see if it changes as the light falling on the sensor changes.

The mini ball lifter, has been stripped and cleaned. and put back in, I'm slowly taking the workings out for cleaning and reassembly. I've also de pinned the keyswitch on the rear, But as to what it does. No idea

Right, cleaned an reassembled, error code changed from 9 to 13. This refers to the clock needs setting, the unit had a AA sized battery located in the case that is dead, the receipt printer includes a time and date stamp on it. Unfortunately it's not a standard 1.2v nicad, but a 3v lithium, (CR6.L) found a supplier online and awaiting delivery. Then need to work out, how to set the clock.

Still waiting for my 3v battery, the supplier in China I ordered from, apologized and said the postoffice would not accept shipping of the battery, So I might have to pay an extra £10 to get on already in the UK

I did have one box arrive today, with some figurines in it.

Finally, the last one to complete my ToHeart2 set

    Silfa

The 3 sisters now all together

I also saw this (little-cough cough) lady for a bargain price so snapped her up.
But can anyone tell me who she is and from what series?

Just to prove its not all fun and games in the clam household, despite slowly building a circuit diagram for the CR units, I've been working on the ball counter, First was to confirm that the ir LEDs were not getting any voltage, traced the feed back through the various cables and circuits traced it back to the PSU, It seems that only board on the right side is working. I'm getting 110v into the input side after a solid state relay switches on from the PSU board on the right into the left board. But there is no output :-(

It is one of these stable PSU things, all electronics. It's listed as a PWB-350B by Nemic Lambda. Of course I can't find the spec online, although it is part of the TDK group.
Any idea what the output voltage should be? Help Compirate!!!

Will do, I'd have to put the PSU back together so it resembles yours first. Although I did notice in mine when having my morning tea. There is some sort of choke, filter, suppressor that has a broken circuit tract, more like the component has been knocked through the circuit board and its pushed the tract off the board. It's a thick copper wire wrapped around an iron circle, so before I put it back together, I'll resolder that connection. Then test.

Well I repaired the board and now get 23.8 v from it. Then put the rest back together with some progress. The IR LEDs now have power. The buttons now illuminate and the sensor error has gone. I still have 2 other errors. The printer is out of paper and the clock needs setting. But no idea how. I also noticed that the new lithium battery doesn't seem to be charging as when voltage measured it's in the 0.01 range.
Maybe I should email glory if they can provide the instructions for things not covered in the service manual.

Well the printer has paper and that code has gone now its just this darn clock.
I just emailed Glory (through the global site http://www.glory-global.com/ ) to see if they can assist me. To tell you the truth I'm not that hopefully for a positive reply but its worth a try. If no luck I'll try the Japanese website.
