I think the height of your machines depends on the height of your stools. I had my wife sit in one of our stools facing the wall and pretend to play a pachi. I measured her hand height from the floor and used that to determine the height/position of the ball launch knob. The pachis I mounted on the wall are the perfect height for everyone based on that formula.
