Default Pachinko Balls : When is it time to get rid of worn Pachinko Balls

I've just spent the last 3 days sorting though my Pachinko Balls (20,000 + ) and found rusted , pitted , and dechromed balls by using one of those desk magnifing lamps and now those will go into my mason jar holding area .

I also have over 1,000 Unicorn Pachinko balls

I have read that some folks use tumblers to clean the Pachinko Balls but for me when the chrome gets pitted or worn off I take them out of circulation .

What do you folks do when your Pachinko Balls are in that condition ??

I'm lucky, I don't seem to have many like that

I have found one or two occasionally amongst balls that have come with purchases, but I just throw them away, would never run rusty ones through my babies

Not sure what I'd do if i had a large quantity though, I'd probably have to try and clean them up

I save the crappy balls that come with machines I buy to function test a new dirty machine. This way I don't have to use my new shiny balls.

I run the rusty, nasty ones an extra long time in the tumbler and go through them. If they look fine, they go into play. If they have a dull look but no deep pits or if some of the chrome is gone but I can't feel edges they go into the tub for testing dirty machines. If they have any rust that will not come off, edges to the chrome, pits I can feel, odd shaped or just don't look right go into the tub of rusty metal that I can't toss out but have no use for (or in the trash)

In order to increase the gloss and the rust/abrasion proof coefficient, we do the hard chrome plating. Our plating equipment was designed specially for the Pachinko balls making it possible to plate the surface of all of the balls equally

Did you even read the whole thing?

It clearly states they have been plated.
