my 85 year old brother passed away
my 85 year old brother passd way from heart problems
he was doing ok till the hear attack and passed away a few weeks after it.
hw was cremated and had his ashes spread on a lake he did most of his boating on.
there was no way i could swing the 500.00 round trip airfare
my 87 year old brother from long island went, here is his email he sent
Hi everyone,
My first day here in Kenosha was exciting meeting all my brothers and sisters except for Paul who couldn't make it.
The airline treated me great and changed my seat to Number 1 on the aisle. I even got through the pat down quickly.
One puzzled girl was singled out for a pat down when she discovered she had bobbie pins in her hair and cleared security when she removed them.
Dickie's daughter Tina had no trouble finding me.
We had our evening meal in a restaurant that had music entertainment. Someone told the musicians that I played trombone and they never heard me play.
The leader said "We have a trombone and he can play something." After they played about a half hour he introduced me and I stood up and played a chorus of "Stardust".
Dick and Francine's home has a beautiful view of the lake from their back porch. and he has some plans for the stone planters on the grounds.
We are all meeting today for a Memorial for Slim. I don't know where and I go wherever they drive me.
The temperature is cool here and I'm glad I both extra sweaters.
I still don't have all the names of the nieces and nephews straight. It is too bad it took the death of one of us to bring about the reunion.
