Gamera LCD Display Not Working

Hello Everyone! Great forum!

I just bought a Gamera Pachislo machine from Craigslist yesterday. The machine has a 4 inch LCD screen at the top. The lady who I bought it from told me that her husband had previously "turned off" the video screen as the dinosaur scared her daughter, but she had no idea how he had done this.

Does anyone have any ideas how I can get the LCD working again? (it is currently blank).

I don't know much about fixing pachislos, but one thing that is always helpful is if you can post some pictures of your machine..Pics of the full front so people know the exact model as there are often several pachis with the same theme/name..Also full pictures of the inside and the back of the door plus detailed/close up shots of any places you think may be part of the problem..

I just figured I'd get that out of the way since the first thing everyone is always asked to do is to post pictures!!

I'm not aware of any way to turn off a screen other than unplugging it..I would suggest looking for any connectors that have been unplugged..

Try tracing the wires from the lcd screen back to a terminal and then from that terminal to another until you find where it's disconnected.I don't think they have switches to shut lcd's off ,it has to be unplugged or wires cut.
