I have 4 cotton balls and part 0of a towel in thes peaker.

there should be a 3 psition switch on the sound board in back, follow your spaekes wires to find the board

you can buy an item called a potentiometer from radio shack for a couple bucks. it's basically a variable resistor with a twist knob. connect it to one of the wires going to the speaker. my experience in doing this is for arrange ball machines with much simpler wiring and just one speaker so it may involve a little more configuration for your situation. plenty of people here have done this though for modern machines and hopefully someone will chime in.
