Default The anatomy of a 1971 Nishijin Tulip

I am working on two short information videos and need some information.

My 1971 Nishijin model A has 5 tulip jackpot slots. The three along the top open and close with each ball. The bottom two tulips remain open for two balls but close for the third.

I have the animations rendered for the bottom tulips that stay open for two balls and close for the third ball. I want to make the video as authentic as possible and I am asking if anyone knows the "official" name of this tulip?
If there's no specific name I'll just call it the "3 Ball Tulip" in the animation. It turned out pretty cool and clearly shows the mecanical operation of this mysterious device.

    Thanks for the help

Nope no real specific name that I know of. I'd call it a tripple jackpot (or payout) tulip.

I called the tulip the "Three mode Tulip". The video is ready for viewing at:

Very nice! I have heard of those tulips before, but never seen one. Now I need a machine that has one! When will the madness stop? Every time I think I can stop collecting... I find a reason to want more!

I just thought I'd mention that I'm in the middle of a very ambitious animation project.
I've modeled all of the relevant parts of my pachinko machine. I'm making a technical reference video of all the different systems it employs... from the ball flipper loader, the flipper, the playfield, jackpot system, ball dump etc.

So far I have the intro and the flipper / loader rendered and currently working on the playfield, namely the tulips. I already have the "three mode tulip" modeled which helps. It's a fun project to do but will take some time to complete.

Below are a couple of example stills and texture reference documents:

Wow that really is an amazing program. I wish I could have it. (only if it was cheaper.) You are a lucky guy to be able to use that program.
